Bard
Base Class: Bard

The Silver Ravens is a not-so-secret secret organization that operates in most countries around the world. Their primary mission is to gather information on events that would negatively impact the world and intervene themselves or subtly pass on the information to the right people.
While anyone with good intentions is capable of joining The Ravens the orginization itself has created it's own special agents with the special skill set to gather Information, hunt down evil-doers, and inspire others to do the same. These bards have the skill-set, magical aptitude, charisma, wit, and combat training to champion the Ravens cause and do real good in the world.
These agents are officially referred to as Silver Feathers and are sometimes called Silver Agents.

As the knowledge of the Raven's agents began to seep outside the group, other organizations looking for similarly skilled operatives took up the chance to train their own people. Some of them work in direct opposition to the Silver Ravens, such as the Obsidian Doves.

Hunter's Magic

At 3rd level when you choose this college your training gives you access to spells from the Rangers Spell List. The spellcasting ability for these spells is CHARISMA. Additionally, you can expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration to cast the spell Hunter's Mark without expending a spell slot.

Part of the Flock

Also at 3rd level when you choose this college you may call on allies that can aid you when needed.
When you finish a long rest in a new settlement you learn if there are any established allies to your order in the settlement, and if there are, you learn of at least one location where they can be contacted. The allies contacted aren't guaranteed to assist you, but will generally provide lodging, food, and basic medical assistance to you and your companions.
You learn Thieves Cant as a language.

Additionally, you are given an enchanted pin depicting the symbol of your order (raven) This pin can be used to cast the spell Find Familiar. The familiar summoned always takes the form of the pin's creature and is always a Fey. If the pin is lost you can perform a ritual during a long rest to have the pin destroyed and a new one magically transported to your open hand.
Once you use this feature you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest.

The creature follows the rules of the find familiar spell except for the following;

  • The creature's hit points are equal to 10 x Proficiency
  • Its proficiency bonus is equal to your own, modifying any of its stats accordingly.
  • You can use your bonus action to allow the familiar to take the attack action on its turn.

Silver Marking

When you choose this college at 3rd level you learn to place a powerful enchantment on a creature or object that gives you advantages in dealing with or tracking said target.

As a bonus action, you can expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration to place a Silver Mark on a creature or object you can see within 30ft of you. If a target is being protected against scrying effects the marking fails. If the marking is successful the target is outlined in a soft silvery glow which is invisible to everyone except yourself and other members of this college.
While a target is marked in this manner you double your proficiency bonus for the following skills when it involves the target; Investigation, Animal Handling, Insight, Perception, Survival, Deception, Intimidation, and Persuasion.

You may mark a number of targets in this way equal to your proficiency bonus. If more than one target is marked you must maintain concentration on the effect as if concentrating on a spell. The marking fades after one hour, you dismiss it, the target dies or is destroyed, or if you and the target are no longer present on the same plane.

Studied Strikes

Starting at 6th level you learn to gather additional information about your marked targets. Once per turn when you make a weapon or spell attack against your Silver Mark you may roll your bardic inspiration die and add the result to the attack roll or damage. You must choose which roll receives the bonus before any dice are rolled. (This does not spend a use of bardic inspiration)

As an action, you can expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration to study a creature marked with your Silver Mark. You immediately learn whether the creature has any damage immunities, resistances, or vulnerabilities and what they are.

Finally, you learn additional combat techniques. Choose one of the following Fighting Styles; Archery, Blind Fighting, Dueling, Interception, Thrown Weapon Fighting, Two-Weapon Fighting or Unarmed Fighting.

Silver Tongue and Eyes

At 14th level, your ability to infiltrate and gather information soars to new heights. You learn to read, understand and speak all regional and racial languages. Any languages you knew before gaining this feature you are considered an expert in and can easily adopt appropriate accents and patterns to perfectly blend into the local's speech.

Additionally,  you learn if the target of your Silver Mark is an aberration, celestial, dragon, fey, fiend, or undead after one minute of being marked. You also learn the alignment of your targets and one of the target's bonds or flaws if applicable.

Finally, you have advantage on saves to resist magic from your marked targets.
