Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks of the Way of Resolute Body train both their mind and body to be as staunch as earth. A Resolute Body focuses their ki to take on the power of stone, to become both shield and spear.

Bulwark of Earth

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you learn to channel you ki to reinforce your body with stone, granting you defensive benefits. As a bonus action on your turn, you can expend 1 ki point to encase your body in stone, lasting for 1 minute. You gain a +2 bonus to your AC and a temporary hit point pool of 1d8, plus your constitution modifier. If the temporary HP is expended, the bonus to AC is lost. You can expend multiple ki points, giving a bonus of 1d8 per point expended. The bonus from constitution does not stack from this.

In addition, while protected by Bulwark of Earth, you gain a burrow speed equal to half of your movement speed.

Steadfast Stance

Starting at 6th level, your body is steeled to resist sweeping blows. While protected by Bulwark of Earth, you gain a bonus to your strength save score equal to that of your constitution modifier. In addition, when subjected to a strength saving throw against an affect that would knock you prone, you can expend 2 ki points to gain advantage on that throw.

Fists of Crushing Stone

Starting at 11th level, you strike with the force of an earthquake. You deal double damage against structures. In addition, while protected by Bulwark of Earth, when you make an attack as your action, you can expend 3 ki points to shatter the opponent's defense. The target must make a constitution saving throw. If they fail, choose one of the following: Slashing, Piercing, or Bludgeoning damage. The target has vulnerability from that damage type until the end of your next turn. This can only be done once per short rest.

Unbreakable Form

Starting at 17th level, your body has been trained to never break or shatter. While protected by Bulwark of Earth, you gain resistance to slashing, piercing, and bludgeoning damage from nonmagical weapons. In addition, when an enemy you can see hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to block all incoming damage from that attack. When you use your reaction this way, you cannot do it again until the end of a long rest.
