Blood Hunter
Base Class: Blood Hunter

A member of the Oder of the Butterfly's Guide is more lighthearted than their monstrous hunters. While other Orders seek to kill the Butterfly's Guide seeks to guard. As Guardians to the border between life and the afterlife.  Some take this duty in different manners, running a funeral parlor, others are exorcists who wander the world finding those who are undead. As they drain their own vitality their power grows exponentially as they will insure the dead will stay dead and those who oppose them? They will find themselves at the border a bit sooner than expected.

Blood Curse of the Fluttering Butterfly

When you use a dash action you can choose to be incorporeal until the start of your next turn,

Amplify: You will also double your movement speed until the end of your next turn.

Guide to the Afterlife

As a bonus action, the player can sacrifice 5 plus your constitution modifier of your current hp to enter the Paramita Papillo State. The amount of hp sacrificed while using this ability goes up to 8 plus con mod at level 7, 11 plus con mod at level 11, 14 plus con mod at level 15, and 18 plus con mod at level 18.  If you were to drop to 0 hp or lower after using Guide to the Afterlife this ability will not trigger. You can use Guide to the Afterlife equal to your proficiency modifier. Taking a short rest will restore charges to Guide to the Afterlife.

Paramita Papilio

While in the Paramita Papillo state the player’s hits will be converted to one of the Crimson Rites you currently have available. You can also add your constitution modifier to the damage as well.  Additionally when you hit an opponent while in the Paramita Papilio state roll a percentile die. On a 50 to 100 the enemy will now have a Blood Blossom dealing 1d4 of your Crimson Rite damage every turn for 3 turns. The Paramita Papilio state will last until the end of your 3rd turn since using Guide to the Afterlife. At levels 7, 11, 15, and 18 you gain one extra die maxing at 5 dice to your attack rolls. While you are in the Paramita Papilio state your hits count as being empowered by your Crimson Rite.

Spirit Soother

At level 7 you summon a spirit before grabbing it and swinging it around you in a 5ft radius. Enemies in your radius must make a dexterity saving throw, use Hemocraft save dc, and take 3d6 of your Crimson Rite plus your constitution modifier. On a success they take half damage. You are then healed for half of the total damage done rounded up. If you use this ability while at 50% health or lower then add double your constitution modifier and heal for your constitution modifier as well. Up to 5 opponents can heal you. At levels 11, 15, and 18  add one more die to Spirit Soother’s damage. Spirit Soother can be used 2 times. Taking a short rest will restore Spirit Soother.

Sanguine Rouge

At level 11, if you are at 50% of your max hp or less you add 5 to your Crimson Rite damage roll.

Garden of Eternal Rest

At level 15 Blood Blossoms will last one more turn and when an enemy is affected by a Blood Blossom gains another Blood Blossom the duration will be doubled to a maximum of 8 turns.

Butterfly's Embrace

At level 18 if you were to take lethal damage or your hit points drop to zero, you can use your reaction to instead drop to 20 hp and you automatically enter the Papilio Charontis State. If you were to land an attack while in the Papilio Charontis State it will count as a critical hit and will give the opponent a Blood Blossom. The Papilio Charontis State will last for 2 rounds. After you use Butterfly’s Embrace you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

The Papilio Charontis State works just like the Paramita Papilo State but it will have a shorter duration and you can not use Guide to the Afterlife to enter the Papilo Charontis State.
