Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

Luck of the Draw

You attack with a special deck of magical playing cards.  Each card has a range of 30ft and magically reappears back in your deck in a random spot once thrown.
These cards deal d4 slashing damage (increases to 2d4 at level 12) and add an additional effect depending on what suit is drawn.
The suit drawn is determined by the number rolled on the cards damage die.

1 - Assassins - Deal extra damage to your target equal to your proficiency bonus
2 - potions - Heal and ally within 30 feet of you for your proficiency bonus
3 - Kings - Ally within 30 feet of you has their next attack roll increased by your proficiency bonus
4 -  Mages - target has it's next attack roll reduced by your proficiency bonus

Quick Draw

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you develop a talent for drawing cards faster than the eye can see. Whenever you make an attack action using your deck of cards, you can make an additional attack as a bonus action.

Stack the Deck

Starting at 9th level, Your quick fingers are able to draw just the right card for any given situation.  When you hit with an attack, you can choose how much damage your card damage die will do and gain any effects associated with that suit.  You can use this feature a number of times equal to your dexterity modifier, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Jokers are Wild.

Beginning at 13th level, your uncanny luck shines through even in unlucky times.  If you roll a one on an attack roll, you can expend one Joker to make another attack against a different creature within range as part of the same action.  You can use this feature twice per day, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Jackpot

At 17th level, you learn to hit the jackpot at just the right time.  Before rolling an attack, you can choose to claim your Jackpot.  If your attack lands, any damage dice you would normally roll, are treated as if they rolled maximum value. If the attack misses, your Jackpot is refunded.  Once you claim your jackpot, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest
