Clutching her maul in hand, the bugbear charges towards the devil before her and begins to lay waste, eyes glowing with rage.
Followers of the path of destruction excel at destroying extraplanar and unnatural foes, calling on the deepest reserves of their rage to deal the most harm.
Ultimate Foe
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, when you rage you can designate one enemy as your ultimate foe. You have advantage on damage rolls against your ultimate foe. This effect ends when your rage ends or when your ultimate foe is slain. You can choose a new ultimate foe as a bonus action, provided you are still raging and your previous ultimate foe is dead.
Favoured Foe
When you choose this path at 3rd level, you may select a favoured foe from the following list: Abberations, Celestials, Dragons, Elementals, Fey, Fiends, Undead. While fighting your favoured foe, you can add your strength bonus an additional time to damage rolls. You gain an additional Favoured Foe at 6th, 10th, and 14th level.
Mindless Rage
Beginning at 6th level, you can’t be charmed or frightened while raging. If you are charmed or frightened when you enter your rage, the effect is suspended for the duration of the rage.
Additionally, if one of your favoured foes attempts to charm or frighten you while you are not raging, you have advantage on saves to avoid or resist the effect.
Improved Ultimate Foe
Beginning at 10th level, you can add your maximum weapon damage to damage rolls against your ultimate foe. This extends to damage from Brutal Critical.
Slayer of Foes
Starting at 14th level, you can add twice your maximum weapon damage to damage rolls against your ultimate foe. Additionally, you roll a critical hit against your favoured foes on 19s and 20s.
