Base Class: Bard

The Blacksmiths role is to provide support through commerce and maintenance. A blacksmith can create arms and armor to suit the needs of both the party and their pockets. Because of the blacksmith's detailing they also know the best ways to use the gear they make and will gain bonuses for doing so.

 

Wares Creation

Wares Creation- At the third level a blacksmith gains the ability to create arms and armors from the Smithing Table for their respective prices.

Tried and True

Using any weapons or armor made by you also gives an additional +2AC to armor or 2d4 damage to weapons increasing AC and damage at Level 6 and 14. At Level 14 double all bonuses added by Tried and True.

Smiths are proficient with any piece of gear they make.

Merchant's Smile

Having a knack for people pleasing you can buy and sell goods to anyone twice a day. This feature is usable once every 24 hours or after a long rest.

Arcane Smithing

You can enchant weapons and armor made from the Smithing Table of Gold quality or higher. Check the Arcane Smithing Table for enchantments and costs.

Creation Station

You can choose an area to set up shop. Creating and selling wares from this location gives you double profit. If the location has the proper tools you also have access to making ranged weapons that incorporate metal. If you use this location for a month without changing you also gain additional uses of Merchants Smile based on your intelligence modifier, minimum of 1. This base of operations can be changed up to once a week.

Fire and Brimstone

The Smith can cast Heat Metal as though it is a cantrip. The blacksmith also can create any tool, weapon, or armor on the Smithing Table for half cost and double the bonuses added by Smithing Table, and Arcane Smithing.
