Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Path of the Arcane Berserker

When a Barbarian finds themselves in the company of mages, there is a possible chance that an Arcane Berserker can come forth from the union. By placing magical tattoos upon the primal warrior, the Barbarian gains the power to resist certain damages, alter the ability of some spells and even suppress the influence of specific schools altogether. While some spellcasters are more then capable taking care of themselves in a fight, it never hurts to have a physically strong companion who can knock some heads.

Elemental Ward

Starting at level 3, you gain the power to resist certain types of damage. While on a short or long rest choose one from Cold, Fire, Force, Lightning and Psychic. You gain this resistance while you are raging and lose it when you stop.

Arcane Alteration

Level 6, you are able to subtly change the effects of certain spells placed upon you. While you are raging and a buff spell (Such as Haste or Warding Bond) is active on you, you can give advantage to the spellcaster who is concentrating on the spell if they are in a 60ft of range. This does not stack with War Caster Feat.

Superior Elemental Ward

Level 10, your Elemental Ward improves so you can pick a second type of damage to gain resistance too. Also, when you have taken damage with the relating damage you have resistance to your next attack adding a 2d6 of the triggering damage.

Spell-Breaker

Level 14, you gain the power to suppress certain types of school magical influence upon you. During a long or short rest, choose one of the schools Abjuration, Conjuration, Divination, Enchantment, Evocation, Illusion, or Necromancy. During your rage, you gain resistance to the damage, or advantage on the spell save to the relating school. This also means that if an ally tries to heal the barbarian, the healing would be halved as well, there are no ways to negate this effect.
