Bard
Base Class: Bard

These bards elect to use their magic in tandem with their logic, infusing their words with magically amplified doubt that can affect a creature.

Social Theory

At 3rd Level, you gain a bonus to your Persuasion, Deception,  and Intimidation checks. This bonus is equal to your Intelligence Modifier. Additionally, you only spend half the normal time and gold when training to learn a new language, or  to gain proficiency with a new tool.

Seeds of Doubt

Also at 3rd level, you learn how to use your logic and ego to spread doubt to a creature attempting to resist your spells. When a creature that you can see within 60 feet of you makes a Saving Throw you can use your reaction to expend one of your uses of Bardic Inspiration, rolling a Bardic Inspiration die and subtracting the number rolled from the creature’s roll. You can choose to use this feature after the creature makes its roll, but before the DM determines whether the Saving Throw succeeds or fails. The creature is immune if it can’t hear you.

Enchanting Guile

At 6th level, you learn three spells of your choice from any class. A spell you choose must be of a level you can cast, as shown on the Bard table, or a cantrip, and must be an Enchantment spell. The chosen spells count as bard spells for you but don’t count against the number of bard spells you know.

Crushing Doubt

Starting at 14th level, whenever you use your Seeds of Doubt feature, you can change the type of saving throw the creature is subjected to rather than expending a use of your Bardic Inspiration. Additionally whenever you fail a Saving Throw, you regain one use of your Bardic Inspiration.
