Base Class: Monk
The Out-fighter seeks to keep a gap from his opponent, as he is trained to battle at long ranges. Fighting at a long-distance provides him with an advantage to land punches to his rival where his rival is unable to reach him. An Out-Fighter approaches his opponent with a jab to create separation. Maintaining a specific distance from the opponent all the time provides him with the opportunity to strike and avoid the blows from the rival. An Out-Fighter gets a chance to make smooth slips and dodge the counters.
Out-Fighter Techniques
As an out-fighter you are skilled in maintaining distance and fighting on your own terms.
Talented counter - Due to your skill at keeping distance, other creatures provoke an opportunity attack from you when they enter your reach provided you are making an unarmed strike.
Move like a butterfly, string like a bee - A number of times equal to your wisdom modifier you can do one of two things when you make an opportunity attack with an unarmed strike.
Move like a butterfly - If the attack lands any attack made by the targeted creature against you has your wisdom modifier subtracted from the attack roll until the end of your next turn.
Sting like a bee - When you make an opportunity attack with an unarmed strike you may chose to make two attacks instead of one.
When you expend all uses you may chose to spend a ki point to use this effect as well.
Excellent movement
Your skill with your head movement allows you attack even while on the defensive.
When you spend a ki point to use patient defense you may also make an unarmed strike. In addition, whenever you spend a ki point to use step of the wind you provoke no opportunity attacks until the end of your turn.
Well-timed strike
A well-timed strike can make a difference between victory and defeat.
When you land a critical hit with an unarmed strike against an enemy the attack is counted as a stunning strike, if the attack was already a stunning strike you regain the ki point spent. In addition the enemy makes their constitution saving throw to avoid being stunned at disadvantage.
Perfect Counter
You have mastered a counter strike.
When you land an opportunity attack against an opponent who is entering your space with an unarmed strike the opponent's speed is reduced to 0 and you may move 5 feet away, doing so does not provide an attack of opportunity.
