College of Metal

Bards that are empowered to bring forth their bardic gifts through the art of rock. Using specially crafted instruments theses bards unleash the rock of ages upon the world. 

Heavy Metal Proficiencies

When you join the College of Metal at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with heavy armor and heavy metal instrument. You may use your heavy metal instrument as a spell casting focus for your bard spells.

Heavy Metal Fighting Style

At 3rd level, you create a instrument and weapon combination that brings the spirit of rock into being. During a long rest you can spend an hour to swap which type of heavy metal instrument you have. You may only have one at a time and when attacking with your heavy Metal instrument you may use your charisma modifier for to hit and damage rolls. You may use any of the weapon attack options when making an opportunity attack with the weapon.

Heavy Metal Bass

Your rocking spirit manifests as a metallic bass.

Heavy Metal Drum Set

You manifest your spirit of rock in the form of a drum set.

Heavy Metal Guitar

Your rock manifest as a guitar.

Inspiring Rock

At 3rd level, when giving inspiration to an ally you can choose to rally their excitement around a particular type of task. You may choose one ability score type. When the target of your inspiration use the bardic inspiration on an ability check or saving throw associated with the type you chose they have advantage on the inspiration roll and may add half of your proficiency modifier rounded down to the check.

Explosive Rock

Starting at 6th level, you cast a cantrip as an action, you may use one of your heavy metal instrument’s attack features as part of the action. When you target a specific ability for your bardic inspiration feature the target may roll the check at advantage now as well.

Face Melting Solo

Starting at 14th level, as an action you can grant you bardic inspiration to all Allie’s that can hear your solo. You choose one ability score for all the creatures for your inspiration feature. You may do this once per long rest. However you can spend a spell slot of 3rd level or higher to reuse the feature.
