Base Class: Sorcerer
Your bloodline inherits a lost sorcerous origin. When heroes infuse their weapons within their souls, they pass it down to future generations. As more and more generations pass, more weapons are fused into their blood, forming the bladehearted. Using these powers, you may summon weapons of past bloodlines, or use weapons as conduits for your spells.
Version 4 of the Bladehearted subclass has changed the following:
- Reworked Impetus Atrox to work only with inherited weapons.
- You can no longer use a shield, medium armor or heavy armor and be able to summon an inherited weapon.
- Reworked Bladehearted Bond so that you cannot use a shield, medium armor or heavy armor and gain benefits from the feature.
- Reworked Proof of a True Bladehearted so that you cannot use a shield, medium armor or heavy armor and gain benefits from the feature.
- Changed some of the Bladehearted's additional spells.
Bladehearted Magic
1st-level bladehearted feature.
You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class. Your connection to the blood of the bladehearted allows you to use certain spells from the wizard, warlock and sorcerer spell list. You use your charisma score for these spells. These spells do not count towards your known spells.

Inherited Arts
1st-level bladehearted feature.
You gain proficiency with martial weapons and light armor if you do not already have it.
Additionally, when you aren't wearing shields, medium armor or heavy armor you may summon an inherited melee weapon as a bonus action with the following properties:
- The inherited weapon counts as a weightless magical martial weapon whose form is your choosing.
- You are proficient with it.
- You use your charisma modifier for its attack rolls instead of your dexterity or strength modifiers.
- You may use your inherited weapon as an arcane focus.
When you reach 6th level with this class, your inherited weapon gains a 1d4 bonus to its damage rolls, and another 1d4 bonus to damage rolls when you reach 14th and 18th level. The inherited weapon lasts for 1 minute, and disappears early when you are incapacitated, you die, you dismiss it as a bonus action or you fail a concentration saving throw (as if maintaining a concentration spell) to maintain the weapon. Once you use this feature, you cannot do so again until you finish a short or long rest.
Impetus Atrox
6th-level bladehearted feature.
As a bladehearted, you have learned to be more aggressive with your weapon attacks. You can make two attacks when you take the attack action with your inherited weapon. You may expend 2 sorcery points to make a weapon attack as a bonus action with your inherited weapon.
Inherited Weapon Improvement
6th-level bladehearted feature.
While you hold your inherited weapon your speed increases by 10 feet. After your inherited weapon is dismissed, you may spend 3 sorcery points to summon it again.
Bladehearted Bond
14th-level bladehearted feature.
You begin to develop a bond with a magical or nonmagical weapon of your choosing. This bond takes place over 10 hours, and can be done during a long rest. Bladeheart-bonded weapons gain the following benefits if you aren't wearing shields, nor medium and heavy armor:
- +2 bonus to weapon attacks
- +2 bonus to weapon damage
- +2 to spell attacks when used as an arcane focus.
It also counts as an inherited weapon. You may only have one bladeheart-bonded weapon at any given time. You may release the bond with a weapon within 1 hour, which can be done during a short or long rest.
Proof of a True Bladeheart
18th-level bladehearted feature.
You have proven yourself worthy to be considered a true bladeheart through your triumphs and accomplishments. As an action, you may expend 5 sorcery points to tap into your true bladehearted form. You may decide on the appearance of the form, though it is the same size as you. While in this form, you gain the following benefits if you aren't wearing shields, medium armor or heavy armor:
- You gain a +3 bonus to your AC.
- You add your charisma modifier to damage dealt by your weapon or spell attack.
- You can attack an additional time for your attack action and Impetus Atrox.
Your true bladehearted form lasts for 1 minute, and ends early if you are incapacitated, you die or you dismiss it as a bonus action..
