Base Class: Bard

The College of The Wordsmith is a Bard subclass that focusses on crafting elegant and hypnotic lyrics to dazzle and destroy your enemies. Bards of this college need not play music in order to weave their magic, but merely utter their words in unique and masterful ways. Wordsmiths are not restricted by a musical instrument, and so are capable of altering their magics with a simple shift in tone. These lyricists are flexible and versatile, always ready to spit bars at a moments notice
Wordsmithing
When you join the College of the Wordsmith at 3rd level, your voice becomes your instrument, when casting bard spells your voice counts as an arcane focus. Additionally, you learn 1 language of your choice and the Vicious Mockery cantrip. If you already know this cantrip you may learn a different bard cantrip of your choice.
Rhyme Scheme
Also starting at 3rd level, when you cast a spell of 1st level or higher that targets a single enemy, you may cast Vicious Mockery as a bonus action targeting the same creature. The spell save DC for this special casting of vicious mockery is your spell save DC + the level of the spell that was cast*. If your action spell deals damage, you may change the type of damage vicious mockery does into the same type as that spell.
*(if you cast Thunderwave with your action, then cast Vicious Mockery as a bonus action, the save DC for V.M is increased by 1)
Vicious Flow
Beginning at level 6, you can alter your words, changing their tone, cadence, and emphasis in order to improve their impact. When you cast a spell of 1st level or higher and use your Rhyme Scheme ability, you may expend a use of your bardic inspiration dice to change the saving throw the target must make against both spells to Charisma. *Vicious Mockery* deals additional damage equal to the roll of your bardic inspiration dice.
Double Time
When you reach level 14 the speed of your words is uncanny. You now can cast two spells with a single action. Each spell must have a casting time of one action, and as normal you can only concentrate on a single spell at a time.
Additionally, you may use this feature also to shorten the casting time of spells. 1 hour spells become 10 minutes, and 10 minute spells become 1 minute. For longer spells, each hour of spellcasting required is completed in 10 minutes.
You may use the Double Time feature a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus per long rest.
