Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards of the College of Dance are fearless performers who entertain and enchant their audiences with endearing, seductive, or technically impressive choreography, while using the same skill set to strike unexpectedly at their enemies.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you join the College of Dance at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in Acrobatics and Performance. If you already have proficiency in either or both of these skills, double your proficiency bonus for any ability check you make that uses Acrobatics or Performance.

Unencumbered Moves

Beginning at 3rd level, while you are wearing no armor and not wielding a shield, your AC equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Charisma modifier.

Invigorating Choreography

Also at 3rd level, you have trained to instill fervor and passion into others through your dance.

You can spend 1 minute dancing, and choose up to five friendly creatures within 30 feet of you that can see you (Including yourself). When you do so, each creature gains temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier + half your levels in Bard, rounded up. A creature can’t gain temporary hit points in this way again until they finish a short or long rest. While a creature has these temporary hit points, you can target them with your bardic inspiration regardless of their distance from you, as long as they can see you.

Enthralling Choreography

Starting at 6th level, you can lace your performance with powerful enchantment magic.

As an action you can perform an enthralling dance which sways others to your cause, and entices allies to fight with renewed vigor. Choose a number of humanoids within 60 feet of you who can see you, up to a number equal to twice your Charisma modifier (minimum of two), and expend a Bardic Inspiration die. Each target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or be charmed by you. While charmed in this way, the target adds your Bardic Inspiration die to any attack rolls they make against your enemies and saving throws against effects produced by your enemies. In addition, they suffer a penalty to attack rolls they make against your allies and any saving throws they make against effects produced by your allies. This effect ends on a target after 1 minute. The target can remake the saving throw whenever they are damaged by you or your allies. A creature may choose to fail the saving throw against Enthralling Choreography.

If a target succeeds on its saving throw, the target has no hint that you tried to charm it, though it is immune to the effect until they finish a long rest.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Enchanting Choreography

At 14th level, your talents of dance reach new heights, granting you magical grace.

Whenever you become the target of an attack or are included in the area of a spell or magical ability, you may choose to expend a Bardic Inspiration die and roll it, moving a distance equal to five times the number rolled. This ability requires no action or reaction, and if your movement carries you outside the area of the spell or magical ability or the range of the attack, the spell or attack has no effect on you.
