Monk
Base Class: Monk

You create 10 mystical rings into which you bind your Ki. These Ki empowered rings move as part of your body and allow you to do extraordinary things.

Ki Abilities

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can channel your Ki into your rings to a wide variety of effects. You gain the eldritch blast cantrip and the thunderclap cantrip. As an action, you can spend 2 ki points to cast shield, jump, thunderwave, or magic missile, without providing material components.

Empowered Steps

You've learned to use your Ki Rings to propel your movement through the air. Once per turn when you move, you may do so in a continuous straight line across empty space in any direction except directly vertical.  If you are above the ground when you stop moving, you fall to the ground. Fall damage is calculated as normal, where applicable.

Spell Catcher

By 11th level, you have learned to receive and redirect energy through your rings. When you are targeted by a spell which requires an attack roll, you may use your reaction to attempt to negate the incoming spell.   Roll a number of your martial arts die equal to your remaining Ki points.  If the total sum of the die is equal to or greater than the damage you would have received from the spell attack you receive no damage instead.  Once you've used this ability to successfully negate a spell attack you cannot use it again until after a long rest.

Ring Guardian

At 17th level, you can protect your allies with your Ki infused rings. Whenever a creature, other than yourself, within 10 ft. of you is hit by an attack you can use your reaction to add your proficiency bonus to the AC of that creature, potentially causing the attack to miss.
