Base Class: Bard
Some performers are made for the stage. Others bask in the glorious assurance that the stage was made for them. Bards from the College of the Diva seek stardom and acclaim, and have honed their craft -- and larger-than-life personalities -- accordingly. If there is a spotlight, they'll gladly steal it. If there's a stage, they're on it. If there isn't, they'll make their own.
The skilled Diva commands the attention of any audience, and once all eyes and ears are on her, she will leave them breathless -- one way or another.
Bonus Proficiencies
When joining the College of the Diva at 3rd level, choose one favored instrument and one favored costume. While wearing your favored costume without armor, and not wielding a shield, your AC is 12 + your Charisma modifier, and you have Disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks.
Upstage
Front and center is where you belong. Starting at 3rd level, when you roll initiative, you may expend one of your Bardic Inspiration dice to add its roll to your initiative. This may be done before combat begins, or as a reaction during combat.
Adoring Fans
Also at 3rd level, you take every opportunity to bask in the appreciation of your inspired audience. While wielding your favored instrument and wearing your favored costume, any time a creature other than yourself rolls one of your Bardic Inspiration dice, they may roll it twice and take the higher result, and you gain Temporary Hit Points equal to the result shown on that die.
Stealing the Show
At 6th level, you gain the ability to command the full attention of any audience. As your action, you may expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to start a performance on your favored instrument that lasts until the start of your next turn.
Hostile creatures within 30 feet of you make a Charisma saving throw against your spell save DC. Creatures that cannot hear you automatically succeed on this save. Creatures that succeed are unaffected by this ability.
Until the start of your next turn, you gain +1 AC (to a maximum of 4) for each affected creature. Any affected creature that moves toward or attacks a target other than you suffers Disadvantage on their Attack rolls and takes psychic damage equal to one roll of your Bardic Inspiration die. The performance ends early if you are incapacitated or silenced, or if you use a Reaction before the start of your next turn.
Encore, Encore!
At 14th level, the adoration of your audience exhilarates and rejuvenates you. Whenever a creature uses one of your Bardic Inspiration die during a successful Attack roll, add the value on that die to the damage of the attack as psychic damage. If that attack brings the target to 0 hit points, you regain one use of your Bardic Inspiration (not to exceed your maximum).
