College of Ego

Bards of the College of Ego spend time and effort to look their best, and believe everyone should admire their radiant visage. Weaving magic into their daily routine allows them to maintain an appearance like no other. With their sharp appearance and sharper tongue, a bard of this college can cause great rip and tear through anyone's self-esteem. Under this college, you are a wondrous sight that everyone should see, and those that oppose you shall be left behind in the dirt, never to recover their confidence.

Alurring Defense

When you join the College of Ego at 3rd level, the magic used in maintaining your appearance means your foes have difficulty tarnishing your beauty. While you are not wearing any armor, your armor class equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Charisma modifier. You can use a shield and still gain this benefit.

In addition, you gain proficiency with the Disguise Kit if you don't already have it.

Petty Remarks

At 3rd level you feel the need to point out each and every one of your opponent's flaws. You learn Vicious Mockery if you do not already know it. As a reaction, whenever a hostile creature that you can see misses an attack or fails a saving throw you may cast Vicious Mockery against that creature.

You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (a minimum of once). You regain any expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Diva's Flare

At 6th level, your ability to shatter your foes' minds is enhanced by your attitude and charm. When you deal psychic damage, you may add your Charisma modifier to one die roll of that damage.

Prima Donna's Aura

By 14th level, your magical presence charms those who get too close. When a hostile creature moves within 10 feet of you, it must automatically make a Wisdom saving throw or be charmed by you until the start of your next turn. Once a creature fails its saving throw against this ability it is immune to being charmed in this way for 24 hours.

In addition, you may take the dash or disengage actions as a bonus action while a creature is charmed by you.
