His hands trembled. He had seen his fate, but refused to believe it. now he knew it was true. In front of him, stood the one who would end him. The one who would dominate the plane. the one who would destroy all light, stood right before him. although this is the way it would seem, he never fell. he never, lost. he never died. he also never survived. After roughly an hour, almost 30 paladins, all attacked him at once. From the man's staff, a blue light shined. for a split second, the room flashed with pure light. the paladins lie on the ground, facing the end of their lives. One got back up. He charged at the man. A cloak of bone and dark magic surrounded the man, as the paladin's sword reflected right off the man. The man stared and said, "so your still alive." The paladin grunted and showed a face of hatred. "I will not die to evil," said the paladin, clutching his greatsword with life. "I will destroy you." As the paladin leaped at the man, he simply waved his staff. The paladin flew backwards, dropping his greatsword that began to glow heavily. As the paladin Began to develop an aura of pure power, The man began to see how strong a single paladin can truly be. Then, the aura disappeared. A single voice was heard. "You have betrayed us. Your oath has been broken. You were not to show hatred in combat. We will revoke your power. This man before you will rise to godhood, and you will die alone." The paladin trembled. "Do you see, where my power lies in? I am simply a wizard, no stronger than you, probably even weaker. What made you weak is that you came to your hatred, and lost control. A single action can be punished in many different ways. That, is what made you weak." The wizard then disappeared. The paladin trembled, knowing that the wizard was right. A single action can be punished in many different ways. And then, his soul faded away, as the wizard grabbed it in his right hand, and destroyed it.
