Druid
Base Class: Druid

Druids of the Circle of the Seasons have great respect for the world and the natural cycle of things. As changeable as the seasons, these Druids are flexible and adaptable, taking on a new form at will when the situation arises.

Seasonal Form

When you choose this circle at 2nd level, you gain another way to use your Wild Shape ability. As a bonus action, you can expend both uses of your Wild Shape to take on a Seasonal Form. Each Seasonal Form has unique abilities as well as an associated first level spell. While in each form, you are considered to have the associated spell prepared to cast with your spell slots, and it does not count against your total number of prepared spells. If you are no longer in the relevant form while you are concentrating on the spell, the spell ends. The form lasts for 10 minutes or until you use this ability again.

Spring Form - When in this form, you are surrounded by an aura of life and rebirth. Any spell you cast of 1st level or higher that heals a target also heals an additional amount equal to your half your druid level (rounded down). You have the spell Cure Wounds prepared while in this form.

Summer Form - When in this form, your body radiates with the energy of the sun. Anytime you roll fire damage as part of a spell you can choose to change the damage type to radiant. Additionally, when you roll fire or radiant damage as part of a spell, you can add additional damage equal to half your druid level (rounded down) to one radiant or fire damage roll of that spell against one of its targets. You have the spell Burning Hands prepared while in this form.

Autumn Form - When in this form, your attacks are infused with the power of the harvest. Your melee weapon damage type changes to slashing, regardless of the weapon used, and is considered magical. Also, your melee weapon attacks deal an additional 1d4 slashing damage. You have the spell Ensnaring Strike prepared while in this form.

Winter Form - When in this form, a chilling wind howls within you. Any creature you deal cold damage to as part of a spell also has their movement speed reduced by 10ft for one round. You have the spell Ice Knife prepared while in this form.

Enhanced Forms

At 6th level, the power of your Seasonal Forms grows. You gain the following benefits while in each of your Seasonal Forms, as well as an additional prepared spell.

Spring form - While in this form, any spell that targets an ally with a beneficial effect that has a range of touch now has a range of 20ft. You have the spell Protection from energy prepared while in this form.

Summer form - While in this form, when a creature within 5 feet of you attacks you, you can use your reaction to cause bright light to flare from you, giving them disadvantage on the attack. You have the spell Fireball prepared while in this form.

Autumn form - While in this form, when your melee weapon attack hits, you can expend a spell slot to deal an additional 2d4 slashing damage per level of spell slot expended. You have the spell Bestow Curse prepared while in this form.

Winter form -  While in this form, when you cast a spell that deals cold damage, your movement speed for this round is increased by 10ft. Additionally, you can choose for the spaces you move through on your turn after casting such a spell to be considered difficult terrain for 1 round. You have the spell Sleet Storm prepared while in this form.

Master of Cycles

By 10th level, you have a greater mastery over your seasonal forms. Changing into a seasonal form now only requires 1 use of Wildshape instead of two.

Seasonal Solstice

At 14th level, you learn of the incredible strength each of the seasons controls at the peak of their power. Your seasonal forms gain the following prepared spells.

Spring: Greater Restoration

Summer: Flame Strike

Autumn: Destructive Wave (Necrotic damage only)

Winter: Cone of Cold

Additionally, once per long rest, you can cast one of these spells (while in the relevant form) once without expending a spell slot.
