Base Class: Wizard
Stories and folktales of the constellations known as the zodiacs have been passed down for generations. By observing their paths through the heavens, these students of the arcane learn to weave the zodiac's magical influence into their own spells.
Zodiacal Influence
When you reach 2nd level, you learn to tap into the celestial influence of the stars above, and can shape your spells to borrow its ancient magic.
Whenever you finish a long rest, you can choose to roll on the Zodiac Influence table to determine which constellation you draw influence from. Once you roll on the table, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest. You can borrow the influence of the constellation you roll when you cast a spell using a spell slot of 1st level or higher. The effect that takes place is determined by which constellation you roll.
You can only use the constellation's influence once before you must finish a long rest. When you reach 14th level, this increases to twice per long rest.

Dragon
The Dragon influences both energy and intelligence throughout the Material Plane.
When you cast a spell that requires concentration, you can choose to weave this constellation's influence into the spell - when you make a Constitution saving throw to maintain concentration on the spell you cast, you can choose to treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10. In addition, any ability check that uses Intelligence while you concentrate on this spell is made with advantage.
Horse
The Horse influences the independent and unruly nature of the Material Plane.
When you cast a spell that does not deal damage, you can choose to use this constellation's influence to give yourself a burst of adrenaline - for the next minute, you are immune to the Restrained and Prone conditions.
Hound
The Hound influences the honest and trustworthy facets of the Material Plane.
When you cast a spell with a range of "touch", or has a range greater than 5 ft., you can use this constellation's influence to extend the spell's natural range. For a spell with a range greater than 5 ft., its range is doubled. For a spell with a range of "touch", its range becomes 30 ft. Moreover, you can target Invisible creatures with the spell, as the Hound's influence helps your spell sniff them out.
Lamb
The Lamb influences the Material Plane via empathy and laziness.
When you cast a spell that has a material component with a gold cost, you can use this constellation's influence to empathize with the cost of the spell - the spell you cast in this way has the material component's gold cost halved for that casting.
Monkey
The Monkey is a child-like and unpredictable constellation - they influence the Material Plane through those same values.
When you cast a spell that deals Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning, Poison, or Thunder damage, you can use this constellation's influence to change the spell's damage type to another damage type from the above list.
Ox
The ox embodies the hardworking and stubborn aspects of the Material Plane.
When you cast a spell that forces creatures to make a Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution saving throw, you can use this constellation to stubbornly push past their defenses, imposing disadvantage on their saving throw. You can choose a number of creatures equal to your Intelligence Modifier to affect in this way.
You must choose to use this influence before the targets make their saving throw.
Pig
The Pig's influence heightens the concern and care of the Material Plane.
When you cast a spell that forces other creatures to make a saving throw, you can choose to use this constellation's influence - choose a number of creatures equal to your Intelligence modifier. The creatures you choose automatically succeed on their saving throw against your spell.
Rabbit
The Rabbit's influence takes hold over all romantic and sensitive aspects of the Material Plane.
When you cast a spell, you can choose to use this constellation's influence. Choose one willing creature within range of the spell - the creature you choose gains a number of temporary hit points equal to your Intelligence modifier + your Wizard level.
Rat
This constellation's influence brings focus to resourceful and cunning individuals.
When you cast a spell that targets a creature, you can use this constellation to terrify your target - if the spell attack hits, or if the target fails its saving throw against the spell, the target becomes Frightened of you for the next minute. At the end of each of its turns, the target can make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC, ending the effect on itself on a success.
You must choose to use this influence before you know if the spell attack hits, or if the target fails its saving throw.
Rooster
The Rooster influences the boastful and adventurous aspects of the Material Plane.
When you cast a spell with a range of "Self", you can choose to use this constellation's influence to continue to enrapture others. For the next 10 minutes, you can choose to add your Intelligence modifier to any Charisma check or Charisma saving throw you make - this constellation's effects end early if you are under the effect of the Silence spell, or a similar magical effect.
Snake
The jealous and clever facets of the Material Plane are easily influenced by the Snake.
When you cast a spell of 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th level, you can use this constellation's influence to make your casting more efficient - when you finish casting the spell, you recover one spell slot of a lower level than the one you cast.
Tiger
The tiger influences the brave (yet arrogant) personalities of the Material Plane.
When you cast a spell that deals damage, you can choose to use this constellation's influence into the spell. When you do, the spell deals an additional die of damage.
You must choose to use this constellation's influence before you know if the spell attack hits, or if the target fails its saving throw.
Survival by Starlight
Also at 2nd level, you know how how to find your bearings from the stars above.
You gain proficiency in the Survival skill, and you have advantage on Wisdom (Survival) checks you make to determine your location while under the stars.
Celestial Safeguard
At 6th level, you know how to construct a solidifying safeguard around you, solidifying the magic of your chosen constellation.
Your safeguard grants you resistance to radiant or necrotic damage based on your chosen constellation, as shown below.

Astronomical Divination
At 10th level, the constellations grant you further insights.
You can conduct an hour-long horoscope (which can be done during a short rest), and harness the influence of your chosen constellation. You can conduct a horoscope with a number of creatures equal to your Intelligence modifier.
During this horoscope, you cast the Divination spell, without expending a spell slot or needing material components. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for this spell. Once you cast this spell in this way, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest.
Absolute Synastry
At 14th level, you have mastered the ability to borrow magic from the stars. You can now use your Zodiacal Influence feature twice between long rests.
Moreover, you know how to share the power you gain from the stars - when you see a creature casting a spell within 60 ft. of you, you can use your reaction to use your Zodiacal Influence feature on that spell instead of your own.
