Base Class: Sorcerer
Somewhere in your bloodline there was a Chosen of Mystra. While most of the abilities of the Silverfire have faded you are naturally attuned to the Weave. You have a finer control of the of the weave to the point where you can manifest the threads to affect the physical world.
Master Weaver
1st-level Silver Weaver feature
You stitch spells from the Weave much like a tailor creates cloths from cloth. You have proficiency with Weaver's Tools and may use them as a spell focus. While using Weaver's Tools as a focus you may cast spells as if they were cast with the Subtle Spell metamagic option. You do not need to know the Subtle Spell metamagic option. You may use additional metamagic options on spells cast using this feature. You can use this feature a number of times per long rest equal to your proficiency bonus.
Inate Magic
1st-level Silver Weaver feature
You instinctively grasp how a school of magic manipulates the weave. You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class. These spells count as sorcerer spells for you. They are always prepared and don’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.
At 1st level choose a school of magic. As you reach certain levels you may choose spells from this school to add to your spell list.
At 1st level add a 1st level spell from the selected school.
At 3rd level add a 2nd level spell from the selected school.
At 5th level add a 3rd level spell from the selected school.
At 7th level add a 4th level spell from the selected school.
At 9th level add a 5th level spell from the selected school.
Silver Threads
6th-level Silver Weaver feature
As you cast spells or handle objects you form imperceptible threads of mana. These threads also automatically bind themselves to people you consider allies while they are within 30 ft of you. Each time you land an attack on a creature within 30 ft of you they must make a Strength or Dexterity saving throw against your Spell Save DC. On a fail they are also bound to you. You may also connect threads to inanimate objects within 30 ft of you as a free action. You may attach threads to unconscious or willing creatures as a free action.
These connections allow you to manipulate those tethered in unique ways. Each creature or object may only have a single thread attached at a time. There is no limit to the number of threads you can maintain as long as they remain within 30 ft of you. The threads snap if the targets leave this range. When any of the following actions are used the threads connected to the target snap.
- As a bonus action you may hurl an inanimate object with a weight less than 5 * your Charisma modifier up to a distance of 60 ft. Make a ranged attack using your charisma modifier. You are considered proficient with this attack. Any creature hit by this object takes 1d8 bludgeoning damage and must make a strength saving throw against your Spell Save DC or be knocked prone.
- If an allied creature provokes an attack of opportunity, you may use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack. If the attack lands you may spend 2 sorcery points to half the damage taken. You may not use this ability on yourself.
- As an action you may pull two connected creatures up to 10 ft towards each other. Unwilling creatures make a Strength check against your Spell Save DC. Large or bigger creatures automatically succeed this saving throw. On a success the creature is not moved and the thread snaps. If the two creatures would collide, you can choose to have them take 1d10 bludgeoning damage. This movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity.
- As an action you may pull a creature up to 20 ft towards yourself. Unwilling creatures make a Strength check against your Spell Save DC. Large or bigger creatures automatically succeed on this saving throw and are not moved. On a success the thread snaps and the creature does not move. Movement caused by this ability does not provoke attacks of opportunity.
- As a bonus action you may pull yourself up to 10 ft towards a connected creature. You may also move towards an attached inanimate object that weighs more than yourself. This option does not destroy the thread. This movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity.
Thread Surge
6th-level Silver Weaver feature
Your control over the weave is heightened. You may cast spells through the silver threads you've formed. You may cast spells with a range of touch targeting any creature bound to you by your Silvery Threads feature. If required make a spell attack roll. This destroys the thread if the spell cast is a spell attack. You may do this a number of times per long rest equal to your proficiency bonus.
Silver Purge
14th-level Silver Weaver feature
When you make a spell attack using your Master Weaver or Thread Surge feature you may add an additional 1d6 Radiant damage to the roll. If you cast a spell targeting a friendly creature other than yourself using either feature you may instead heal 1d6.
Chosen of Mystra
18th-level Silver Weaver feature
You regain some of the lost powers of your bloodline. At the end of a long rest choose a spell that you know. This spell may be cast without the need for verbal, somatic, or material components without a gold cost. This spell gains the benefits of your Silver Purge class feature.
The range of your threads increases to 60 ft. and the range of abilities granted by your Silver Thread ability double.
