Base Class: Barbarian
As the Full Moon rises high into the night sky it illuminates the fields, forests, and creeks of the countryside. For some, it means a time of rest, but for you, it means a fight, whether it's against your own demons, or anything foolish enough to cross your path during your "time of the month". For you, it means a long night, for you are a werewolf.
You either chose or have been cursed with this burden, but it can do you a favor. When your enemies are too great in strength and number you can turn into a beast that can turn the situation to better, but also to worse.
Curse of the Lycanthrope
When you rage (turn into a werewolf) make a wisdom saving throw (DC 12). On a failure you lose control of yourself and attack the nearest creature / DM takes your turn. You may attempt the save again at the start of your next turn.
You shift into beast form when you rage. when you do so, for the Duration of your rage you can grapple a creature one size larger than you or less as action, on each of your turns after this one you can make a bite attack against a grappled foe as a bonus action. When you take the form on a werewolf and gain temporary hit points equal to 2 + half your level
Lycanthrope Fighting
While raging in your werewolf form your unarmed attacks deal 2d4+Str modifier damage and you gain a bite attack that deals 1d8+Str modifier damage. You also gain +10 speed, and vulnerability to silver (all the time). You cannot wield a weapon while raging.
The Power Within
You gain the ability Bestial Roar, which can be used a number of times equal to your constitution modifier per long rest. This can be done as a bonus action or in reaction to being targeted by a projectile (non-magical). A loud, monstrous roar causes a shockwave around the you. Every creature within 10 feet of you must succeed a strength saving throw equal to 8 + your strength modifier + your proficiency bonus. On a failure they are pushed up to 10 feet from you and fall prone, if they succeed, they are pushed half the distance and not knocked prone. This shockwave also slows incoming projectiles (non-magical), causing them to deal 1d10 + constitution modifier + lycan level less damage.
You gain more control over the curse and the wisdom save to remain yourself is now at DC10
Lunar Bloodrites
Beginning at 10th level, while raging your claw damage increases to 2d6, your bite damage increases to 1d12, and you can grapple as a bonus action. Now all your unarmed strikes count as magical for the purpose of overcoming Resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.
Your mastery over the curse reduces the wisdom save needed to be yourself to DC 8
True Beasthood
You gain full control of the curse within you and control it at will. Now whenever transforming into werewolf form you no longer need to make a wisdom save.
Lycan regeneration, you may use your action to roll up to two hit die and heal as if you had taken a short rest. This feature may only be used once per long rest.
Lycan rage, when hit with a melee attack you may use your reaction to make one claw attach against the target.
