Base Class: Barbarian

You make the raging flames of the nine hells look like sparks and embers. This subclass offers brand new features to play the fantasized ideal of the Berserk Barbarian.

Fury

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can go into a fury when you rage. If you do so, for the duration of your rage you can add your proficiency bonus to your damage rolls.

Guts

Beginning at 6th level, your undying rage is what separates you from the rest of the martial classes. When your hp is reduced to 0, you can expend a use of your rage to bring you back to 1 hp instead.

This does not count as an action, bonus action, or reaction.

Powerhouse

Beginning at 10th level, your critical strikes start to hit harder and faster than before. You gain a new way to use your rage by honing it on the strikes that matter the most. By expending a use of rage as a bonus action, you can now choose either of the following choices:

  • You gain an additional extra attack for 1 minute.
  • On a hit, you can choose to critically strike and double your damage rolls on demand for 1 turn. This effect applies to all attacks you made in this turn.
  • On a hit, whenever an ally makes an attack roll on an 18 or higher against this creature, it now counts as a critical hit, this effect lasts for the next 3 turns.

Malevolence

Starting at 14th level, when you take damage from a creature that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to decrease the number needed to roll for a critical strike from a 20 to a 19. This effect can stack.

This effect lasts until the end of your rage or until you critically strike.
