Monk
Base Class: Monk
Monks who practice the Way of the Eight Trigrams use an ancient close-combat martial arts technique that involves an enlightened perception and understanding of their immediate surroundings and opponents.
Their attacks are often fluid, graceful, and circular in motion. Monks of this tradition perform martial arts techniques consisting of evasive movements and offensive counterstrikes.

Eight Trigrams Eye

When you choose this path at 3rd level, your meditation has given you the ability to awaken your enlightened eyes and grant you supernatural awareness of the battlefield.
As a bonus action, you spend 1 ki point and your eyes take on a changed appearance, granting you an additional special sight within a 10 foot radius centered on you, for up to 1 minute. You gain the following benefits within this radius while this feature is active:
  • You have advantage on all Wisdom(perception) checks that rely on sight.
  • You have blindsight. Within this radius, you can effectively see anything that isn't behind total cover, even if you're blinded or in darkness. Moreover, you can see an invisible creature within this range, unless the creature successfully hides from you.
  • Other creatures don't gain advantage on attack rolls against you as a result of being unseen by you.
This effect ends early if you become incapacitated or die, or if you dismiss it(no action required). The radius of this feature increases as you gain levels in this class. It increases to 15 feet at 6th level, 20 feet at 11th level, and 30 feet at 17th level.

Meditative Combat

Starting at 3rd level, you learn to defend yourself in graceful and circular motions as part of your Flurry of Blows. Whenever you use your Flurry of Blows, you gain the benefit of the Dodge action against the creatures you successfully hit, until the start of your next turn.

Revolving Heavens

Starting at 6th level, you release your your ki from your body and spin rapidly, creating both a defensive and offensive revolving force.
As an action, you can spend 3 ki points and create a cyclone of ki within a 10 foot radius centered on you, forcing creatures within this radius to make a dexterity saving throw. Creatures that are Large or smaller, caught within this area of effect, are pushed back to an unoccupied space within five feet outside of this radius. On a failed save, creatures take force damage equal to 3 rolls of your martial arts dice plus your wisdom modifier and are knocked prone. On a success, creatures take half damage and are not knocked prone.
If you use this feature while your Eight Trigrams Eye is active, the radius of this ability is equal to the radius of your Eight Trigrams Eye feature.

Advanced Perception

Starting at 11th level, your enlightened vision gives you the ability to see the ki within creatures, allowing you to greatly disrupt this flow. While using your Eight Trigrams Eye, you gain the additional following benefits:

  • Your unarmed strikes deal force damage to creatures.
  • When you successfully hit a creature with a Stunning Strike, choose an ability score. The target has disadvantage on saving throws with that ability score. A greater restoration spell can end this effect.

Eight Trigrams Master

Starting at 17th level, your visual prowess has excelled greatly and you gain the ability to attack your opponents with a frenzy of consecutive unarmed strikes. When you use your Flurry of Blows on creatures that you can see with your Eight Trigrams Eye, you can make up to three additional attacks with it(up to a total of 5 Flurry of Blows attacks), provided that each of the previous additional attacks successfully hits a creature. If one of your extra attacks misses before you strike with all 5 Flurry of Blows attacks, you're unable to benefit from any additional attacks from this feature that you have left for the remainder or your turn.
