Base Class: Monk
Hunters of rogue mages and defenders against the arcane. Spell Breaker monks follow a dogmatic tradition that strives to keep magic in check, lest it run rampant
Deflect Magic
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you learn to turn magic aside. You can use your reaction to deflect or catch the spell when you are hit by a ranged spell attack. When you do so, the damage you take from the attack is reduced by 1d10 + your Wisdom modifier + your monk level. If you reduce the damage to 0, the spell has no effect, and you can catch the spell if you have at least one hand free. If you catch a spell in this way, you can spend ki points equal to the spells level (1 ki point if the spell is a cantrip) to make a ranged spell attack with the spell you just caught, as if you had cast the spell, as part of the same reaction. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for deflected spells and spells from this subclass.
Detect magic
You can cast detect magic at will.
Spell Eater
At 6th level, you can siphon energy from the spells you resist. When you succeed on a saving throw against a spell, you can use your reaction to regain a ki point. you can use this reaction as many times as your proficiency bonus up to a maximum of 3
Anti-Magic
At 11th level, you can use your ki to outright foil magic. You can spend 3 ki points to cast counterspell or dispel magic.
Magic Resistance
At 17th level, your body rejects magic like a toxin. You have advantage on saving throws against spells
