Base Class: Paladin
Paladins of the Oath of War are people whose lives have been dedicated to combat. They may be soldiers, mercenaries or bandits. They may fight for tyranny or freedom, justice or power, life or death. What unites these warriors is a sworn oath to live a life of blood and glory. To them, no place is more sacred, more holy, than the battlefields of war.
TENETS OF WAR
The tenets of the Oath of War encourage its paladins to seek glory and honorable combat.
Make War, Not Violence. War is glorious — backstabbing and poisonings are not. Know the difference and do not cross this line.
Be Ready, Not Surprised. Never let yourself be caught with your guard down — always be ready to fight.
Seek Opponents, Not Victims. Only fight those who are worthy — never stain your blade with the blood of the weak or innocent.
Oath Spells
You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed in the Oath of War Spells table. See the Sacred Oath class feature for how oath spells work.

Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options:
Detect Weakness. As an action, you can expend a use of your Channel Divinity feature and choose a creature that you can see within 60 feet of you. You immediately learn its creature type and its damage immunities, resistances and vulnerabilities, if any.
Spirit of War. As a bonus action, you can expend a use of your Channel Divinity feature and choose a creature you can see within 30 feet of you. The chosen creature has advantage on all attack rolls it makes until the end of its next turn.
Aura of Armor
At 7th level, you constantly emit an aura that protects your allies. As long as you're not incapacitated, you and any allies within 10 feet of you can reduce any bludgeoning, piercing or slashing damage you take by an amount equal to your Charisma modifier.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Tides of Battle
At 15th level, your energy in battle is neverending. When you use your Divine Smite feature and expend a spell slot of 3rd-level or lower, you can choose to regain one expended paladin spell slot. The spell slot you regain cannot be of a level higher than the one you expended to use this feature.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier per long rest.
Paragon of War
At 20th level, you can transform into the embodiment of war. As a bonus action, you can undergo a transformation for up to 1 minute, or until you are incapacitated. For the duration, you gain the following benefits:
- You gain a +2 bonus to AC.
- You gain 10 temporary hit points at the beginning of each of your turns.
- Any critical hit you suffer becomes a normal hit.
- Whenever you take the Attack action, you can make one additional weapon attack as part of that action.
You can use this feature once per long rest.
