College of the Juggler

Not all music is crafted from sound. Some performers instead captivate audiences with the rhythm of motion, in dazzling displays of coordination and focus. The Juggler has learned how to turn seemingly simple objects into a visual melody, written in the air before them with spins and throws, to disguise physical and arcane feats.

The physical and mental demands of their craft have turned the Juggler into a master of managing seemingly countless objects and tasks, juggling swords and thoughts with equal deftness.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you join the College of the Juggler at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with any light melee weapon, and you may use any light melee weapon as a spellcasting focus. Additionally, your physical coordination allows you to treat all weapons with the light property as also having the thrown property. 

You are able to juggle three light weapons at a time in your hands, and all three are considered wielded. This increases to four weapons at 6th level and five weapons at 14th level.

Dazzling Displays

Also at 3rd level, while you are wielding at least 3 light weapons, the beguiling sight grants you +1 AC as your movements seem harder to track. As soon as a weapon is thrown, dropped, or put away, it is no longer considered wielded for the purpose of this feature.  This increases to +2 AC at 6th level and +3 AC at 14th level.

Resplendent Reflexes

Starting at 6th level, you no longer suffer Disadvantage on attacks with thrown weapons on targets within 5 feet of you. 

Additionally, you may use a reaction to do one of the following:
- Make an attack with a light, thrown weapon at a target that just attacked you
- Throw one of your wielded weapons (without an attack roll) and expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration.  Subtract the value rolled from a saving throw of an enemy within 30 feet.  
- Draw up to two weapons with the light and thrown properties

Flexible Focus

At 14th level, your expertise at managing simultaneous tasks is unmatched.  Whenever you would fail a Concentration check, you may expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to pass it instead.
