Base Class: Rogue
Being the inheritors of the ancient and venerated elven art of mirror magic, argent infiltrators use their mastery and knowledge of the mirror realm to disguise themselves as others and enhance their combat abilities.
Mirrored Strike
3rd-level Argent Infiltrator feature
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you learn how to creat an extra attack using a double of your attack made of light. Immediately after you hit a creature with an attack, you can use your bonus action to damage the same creature again. The strike deals half the damage of the original sneak attack in radiant damage rounded up. You cannot use this ability if you can’t see the target.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Doppelgänger
3rd-level Argent Infiltrator feature
At 3rd level, your illusionary abilities allows you to take the appearance of another creature you have studied. As an action, you can make a Wisdom (insight) check against a creature within sight of you, contested by the creature’s Charisma (deception) check. If you succeed, you can alter your appearance to make yourself look and sound like the other creature. This ability follows the same basic rules as the disguise self spell. This ability lasts until you choose to dismiss it or your incapacitated.
To discern the illusion, a creature can use its action to inspect your appearance and must succeed on an Intelligence (investigation) check against your charisma (deception) check.
You can use this ability only once, regaining it’s use after a short or long rest.
Reflective Transposition
9th-level Argent Infiltrator feature
At 9th level, you gain the ability to step from one reflective surface to another as you transverse through the mirror realm. When within 5ft of a reflective surface of some kind (such as a mirror, pane of glass, pool of water, or a reflective blade), as a bonus action you can teleport up to 60ft to an unoccupied space you can see that is also within 5ft of a reflective surface.
Mirrored Persona
13th-level Argent Infiltrator feature
At 13th level, your gain the ability to possibly draw upon the knowledge of the creature your disguised as using your Doppelgänger ability. While you’re successfully duplicating the appearance of another creature, you can use your action to ask a question about the person you’re impersonating. Make an intelligence saving throw. On a failure, you take 4d8 points of psychic damage and become stunned until the start of your next turn and cannot ask the same question again. On a success, you learn whatever information about the creature that pertains to the question asked. The extent of knowledge you learn as well as the DC of the intelligence saving throw is up to the discretion of the GM. The DC of the saving throw is influenced by how important the information was to the creature your impersonating, having a higher DC for more important information and a lower one for trivial information.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Specular Duplicate
17th-level Argent Infiltrator feature
By 17th level, you learn how to call upon your duplicate from the mirror realm to assist you in battle. As an action, you can summon a distorted duplicate of yourself to appear within 30ft of you from a reflective surface. The duplicate lasts for one minute, until it is destroyed, until you dismiss it as a bonus action, or until you’re incapacitated.
Your mirror duplicate has an AC of 18, same amount of hit-points as you, and immunity to all conditions. If it has to make a saving throw, it uses your saving throw bonus for the roll. It is the same size as you, and it occupies its space. Roll initiative for the duplicate. On its turn, the duplicate can move up to 30ff and make the attack, dodge, or help action.
- Sneak Attack. The duplicate can make a sneak attack once on its turn, using the normal rules for a rogue’s sneak attack. The duplicate’s sneak attack damage deals 3d6 points of radiant damage.
- Mirror Slash. Melee Weapon Attack: your dexterity plus proficiency modifier to hit, reach of 5ft, one target. Hit: 1d8 + dexterity modifier in radiant damage.
Once you use this feature, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest.
