Base Class: Monk
Specialising in focusing their Ki to create webbing, these Monks can control the battlefield to aid their allies.
Ki Webs
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can manipulate your Ki to create webs.
You can spend 1 Ki point to create a web thread as a bonus action. This web can impose one of the following effects on a targeted creature up to 15ft from you:
- It must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be restrained until the start of your next turn. A creature restrained in this way can use its action to make a Strength check against your Ki save DC. On a success, it frees itself.
- It must succeed on a Strength saving throw. If it fails, you can move it up to 10ft in a direction of your choosing.
Arachnid Alertness
At 6th level, you gain the pre-emptive reactions of a spider. Gain the Alert feat.
Always on the lookout for danger, you gain the following benefits:
• You can’t be surprised while you are conscious.
• You gain a +5 bonus to initiative.
• Other creatures don’t gain advantage on attack rolls against you as a result of being hidden from you.
Wall Climbing
Beginning at 11th level, your Unarmored Movement improves.
Your control of Ki gives you the ability to move up, down, and across vertical surfaces and upside down along ceilings, while leaving your hands free. You also gains a climbing speed equal to your walking speed.
Web
At 17th level, you can focus your Ki to create a larger web.
As an action, spend 1 Ki point and cast the Web spell. The spell save for this is equal to your Ki save DC.
