Base Class: Bard
You studied at the school of rock
Bonus Proficiencies
When you join the College of Rock at 3rd level, you gain
proficiency with medium armor and shields.
Instrument of Destruction
At 3rd level, you can fashion together an instrument with a devastating edge. Choose one martial weapon to become proficient with that does not have the special property. Your instrument takes on the basic shape of this weapon and gains its statistics. You cannot be disarmed of this weapon and can dismiss it as a bonus action, shunting it into an extradimensional space, and it appears in your hands when you use a bonus action to summon it. You can choose a new Instrument of Destruction by performing a 1-hour long ritual over an existing instrument.
Musical Techniques
At 3rd level you have several musical techniques at your disposal. You learn two techniques of your choice and they enhance your attacks and abilities in some form or another. You can only use one technique per attack and each technique expends one or more bardic inspiration die. If the technique requires a saving throw the DC is equal to your spell save DC. You learn one additional technique at 6th and 14th level.
Accelerando
You play a fast melody to pump you or someone else up. As a bonus action you can expend any number of bardic inspiration die to double the movement of yourself and/or a number of creatures of your choice equal to the amount of die you expended.
Allargando
You play a slow, heavy melody. As an action you can expend a number of bardic inspiration die to slow a number of targets equal to the amount of die expended. The selected targets must make a wisdom saving throw or have their movement reduced by half until the end of your next turn. The DC is equal to your spell casting DC.
Coda
You play a riff that bolsters your defenses. When a target makes an attack roll against you or another creature you can see within 5 ft. , as a reaction, you can roll a bardic inspiration die and add it to your AC or your targets AC until the start of your next turn.
Power Chord
You expend a bardic inspiration die to play a chord on your Instrument of Destruction and produce a shockwave in a 15 ft. cone in front of you dealing 2d8 thunder damage. The target must also make a STR saving throw or be pushed 10 ft. away from you and be knocked prone.
Reverb
When you cast a spell that deals damage, you can expend a number of Bardic Inspiration die equal to half the spell's level rounded up (cantrips use 1). The target takes an additional half of the damage dealt by the initial spell immediately. You must decided to use this before the damage roll.
Sforzando
You play a loud sudden sound. As a bonus action you can expend a bardic inspiration die to attempt to stun a target. The target makes a constitution saving throw equal to your spell save DC or be stunned until the end of it's next turn.
Solo
You play a taunting solo. As an action you can expend a bardic inspiration die and choose one target that can see, hear, and understand you and they must make a charisma saving throw equal to your spell save DC. Any attacks made by the target against anyone other than you is made at disadvantage for up to one minute. The target can repeat this saving throw at the end of each of it's turns.
Extra Attack
Starting at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.
Illusory Band
At 6th level you have mastered the art of being a one person band. You summon three illusory band members on different instruments of your choice and they play along with you and can choose between the two options below:
You and the band start a captivating performance for 10 minutes. Any number of creatures that you choose must make a charisma saving throw using your spell save DC or be charmed for 10 minutes. Any creature charmed in this way does not know they were under the influence of a charm.
Or:
You and the band play a fear inducing cacophonous song. Any creature that is hostile to you that can hear and see you must make a charisma saving throw using your spell save DC or become frightened. The frightened creatures must immediately use their reaction to move their full movement away from you on a failed save. On a success nothing happens.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your charisma modifier.
Rockstar
At 14th level you have mastered the art of rock. When you are struck by an attack you can use your reaction to deal your bardic inspiration die in thunder damage to the attacker. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your charisma modifier. You regain all uses of this feature after a long rest.
Additionally when you make attacks using your Instrument of Destruction you can deal an additional amount of thunder damage equal to your bardic inspiration die.
