Base Class: Paladin
Paladins who value secrecy or wish to find the truth will take the oath of Nunya. Detectives who desire the truth or witnesses who must keep a terrible secret will take to the oath and its tenets.
TENETS OF NUNYA
A paladin who follows the oath of Nunya strives to find a balance between truth and secrecy.
Truth. Some secrets should not be kept from the world. Your intuition will decide whether someone else's business remains their own.
Secrecy. Some secrets are meant to stay as such. If you must compromise your values to lie, then so be it.
Loyalty. If someone entrusts a secret to you, you will ensure it remains a secret to those who should not know it
Privacy. Your business is your own. Never forget that your personal interests and goals are not the business of others unless you deem it to be. Share yourself cautiously.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Nunya business. As an action, you can give yourself expertise in deception or insight checks for 1 minute. Additionally, if you choose deception, any effect that would prevent you from lying or automatically know you're lying will think you're telling the truth should you succeed your deception check. If you already have expertise in the ability you choose, you instead gain advantage
Turn the Untruthful. As an action, you bellow a warding prayer and turn away fiends and fey, using your Channel Divinity. Each fiend or fey that can see or hear you within 30 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw. If the creature fails its saving throw, it is turned for 1 minute or until it takes damage.
A turned creature must spend its turns trying to move as far away from you as it can, and it can’t willingly move to a space within 30 feet of you. It also can’t take reactions. For its action, it can use only the Dash action or try to escape from an effect that prevents it from moving. If there’s nowhere to move, the creature can use the Dodge action.
