Blood Hunter
Base Class: Blood Hunter

There is great power in blood, as any blood hunter would know. But few know the euphoric rush one can feel when they indulge in the gluttony of blood.

The Blood Hunters of the Crimson Feast are more closely tied to the blood of the enemies than other orders. Some sects of the order regularly drink the blood of beast as part of training. Honing their body to be sustained on the life essence, making them more efficient hunters.

Child of the Night

You have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 120 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Additionally you can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check while leaving your hands free.

Scarlet Thirst

Blood is a precious thing, one must never let it go to waste. Even from the most base of creatures. When a creature that contains blood of at least mild threat (DM’s discretion) is killed within 30 feet of you, you can use your reaction to regain hit points equal to a roll of your heamocraft dice.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your heamocraft modifier (minimum once) per long rest.

Hemocraft modifier: Intelligence

Your chosen Hemocraft modifier is Intelligence.

Blood Curse of the Night Spawn

At 7th level, you hone your hemocraft to create blood born minions to fight by your side. You gain the Blood Curse of the Night Spawn for your Blood Maledict feature. This doesn’t count against your number of blood curses known.

Blood Curse of the Night Spawn

As an action, you can cast the conjure animal spell at 3rd level. Summoning wolves, rats or bats. Creatures summoned by this spell are considered undead.

Amplify. The conjured night spawn appears with more hit points than normal: 2 extra hit points per Hit Die it has.

The damage from its natural weapons is considered magical for the purpose of overcoming immunity and resistance to nonmagical attacks and damage.

Rush of Blood

When you regain hit points, you are brought into a limited elated state of mind and body.

The next attack roll, saving throw or ability check you make is made with advantage.

Vermillion Harvest

At 15th level, your crimson rite reflects your own thirst for blood. Draining the target while invigorating yourself. Once per round when you damage a creature with blood with your crimson rite of at least a mild threat you can regain hit points equal to your crimson rite damage.

Brand of the Feast

Starting at 18th level, your Brand of Castigation creates deeper wounds on your target, letting their life essence flow more freely. When you use your Vermillion harvest or Scarlet Flow ability on the targeted creature, you can roll an additional hemocraft die when determining healing.
