Base Class: Rogue
Rogues usually have an eye for shiny stuff, and Gold Seizers have honed their skills in taking such. Gold Seizers never find their vault empty, or debit card declined. Gold Seizers have cracked the code to a strong offense while taking from their adversaries. Robin Hood would be proud of such adventurers. These Rogues are almost always chaotic, and are never lawful. It's what you choose to do with this power of yours that determines what path you're destined to travel.
Thief's Strike
3rd level Gold Seizer feature
Whenever you make a melee weapon attack with a martial weapon with which you are proficient, you can attack at the target's legs and slash their pockets open. You can then use your reaction to pick up the gold that spills out, as if you regularly pickpocketed them. Each target can only be subject to this twice (because they have two pockets).
At 7th level, the amount of gold you get is doubled from what it would normally be, and at 15th level, the amount of gold triples.
Midas' Touch
9th level Gold Seizer feature
At 9th level, you can choose to turn an object to gold, as long as it does not exceed a 1ft by 1ft cube. After the object is turned to gold, you can either keep it as a trophy of your travels or go to a local town and bargain with your DM for a good price.
This ability recharges on a long rest.
Gold Tongue
13th level Gold Seizer feature
At 13th level, you get advantage in Charisma (Persuasion and Deception) checks because you are noticeably wealthier than the commoners. You can use this ability for every 1000 gold coins you have (you do not lose the money) (maximum of 5), then you must finish a long rest.
Royal Contact
17th level Gold Seizer feature
At 17th level, one can only assume you are very wealthy. You have connections in all sorts of kingdoms across your travels. You now have a helper walking around with you on your adventures that acts very similarly to Knight's Retainers, and they have a pet owl they can send to kingdoms you've been in to ask for money if you need it. You can use this feature once, then you must get out of debt to use it again. If you don't repay the kingdom by a month's time in-game, they'll put you on the hit list.
