Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

In and out of combat, your connection to your emotions makes you better.

Exemplify

Emotions are your stock and trade.  Tapping into and riding them are what sets you apart from other Fighters.

On your turn, as a bonus action, you may choose to Exemplify one of the following emotions.  When you do so, you project a 15 foot aura and gain bonuses based on the emotion chosen.  This Exemplification lasts for 1 minute, until you are knocked unconscious, or you are forced to abandon your emotion.  You can do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all uses after a long rest.

Anger/Passion - you gain advantage on Intimidation checks. The first time you hit a creature in your aura on your turn, you deal an additional d6 psychic damage. If you use Action Surge to take a second attack action, you may deal this damage a second time.

Separation/Sadness - you gain advantage on Perception checks, and hostile creatures treat your aura as difficult terrain, and while inside your aura cannot take reactions.

Serenity/Calm - you gain advantage on Insight checks, and allies within your aura gain advantage on the first Saving Throw they take per turn.

Compassion/Love - you gain advantage on Persuasion checks, and once per turn on your turn, a creature in your aura heals d6 hit points.

Love Endures

At 3rd level, as long as you are exemplifying, you gain resistance to all damage but Psychic.

Wide Shoulders

Starting at 7th Level, you are treated as a Large creature for the purpose of Carrying Capacity.  You have advantage on Strength Checks.  Additionally, when you Exemplify an emotion, you may choose to Exemplify two emotions at once, using two charges, and gaining both benefits.

Emotional Vulnerability

Starting at 10th Level, while Exemplifying an emotion, you may use a Bonus Action to pour all of your emotions into one strike.  One creature in  your aura that you can see has vulnerability to your next successful attack.  After you hit the creature, your Exemplify ends.

Emotional Support

Starting at 15th Level, when you use an Exemplify, you may choose one ally  in your aura.  That ally also projects an aura of the same size as yours, even if they move out of your aura.  Their aura lasts until your Exemplify ends, even if they are knocked unconscious.

Font of Emotion

Starting at 18th level, if you roll Initiative and do not have a use of Exemplify left, you gain 1.
