Base Class: Monk
Way of Fury monks have learned to control their emotions and harness their rage for use in battle. They release unrelenting fury on targeted foes, forgoing other targets while their anger builds.
Focus of Fury
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you may choose a creature to be your Focus of Fury. As a free action, target a creature you can see. You gain advantage on attack rolls against the creature for 1 minute or until it drops to 0 hit points or falls [condition]unconscious[\condition]. If this occurs, you may choose another target as a free action. You have disadvantage on attack rolls against other creatures while this ability is active. As an action you may dispel this ability but may not cast it again until after a short rest.
Fury Rising
Each time you make a successful attack and deal damage to your Focus of Fury, you gain a stack of Fury against that target. For each stack of Fury against them, the target takes an additional 1 damage from your damage rolls. You temporarily gain +1 AC for every 3 stacks of Fury. The limit on stacks of Fury against a single target is determined by the size of your Martial Arts die. All stacks are lost if you miss an attack, fail to damage your Focus, or change your Focus.
Fast and Furious
At 6th level, when you select a new Focus of Fury, the first attack made against your Focus grants an additional stack of Fury for every 15 feet of movement you made toward your Focus that turn.
Invigorating Kill
Starting at level 11, if you cause your Focus of Fury to drop to 0 hit points or fall [condition]unconscious[\condition], you may heal 1 point for each stack of Fury held while landing the killing blow.
Unbridled Rage
Starting at 17th level, you do not lose Fury Stacks if you fail to successfully hit your Focus of Fury.
