Base Class: Warlock
Before the mage was a sight most would see only in their wildest dreams. It was a veritable mountain of gold, jewels, and magical artifacts of untold arcane power and wonder. As the mage gazed upon such wealth, part of the mountain shifted and moved. treasure spilled from the mountain as slowly the head oh a great scaled beast, with scales the color blood rubies and as hard as any magical armor, teeth as white as snow and sharp as any enchanted blade, and slit pupiled eyes surrounded by blazing green irises of fire emerged from its glittery depths and gazed upon the kneeling mage. As gold, gems, and magical items of wonder spilled from the great beast's head it opened its jaws and spoke in voice the boomed with power throughout the ancient cavern, "What has brought thou to my abode, oh pitiful mortal. Speak and pay homage to I who is known as Ruby Rose, last of the ruby dragons of yor."
"Oh great, and wise one, last and most brilliant of all who came before you," cried the mage bowing before this ancient and magnificent creature. " I am but a poor apprentice mage seeking to refill the world's knowledge of the lost arcane knowledge of old. I beseech thee to grant me even a tiny portion of your knowledge so that I may bring prosperity back to the world." he cried tears in his eyes. The great beast gazed upon the kneeling man, internal debating on whether it should aid this man on his noble quest... or eat him as an afternoon snack.
1st Lv. Draconic Patron
You have received the blessing of the dragons from a dragon patron deity such as Tiamat of the chromatic dragons, Bahamut of the metallic dragons, or Sardior of the gem dragons (or any other powerful dragon like entity) which manifests in draconic features and grants your warlock to speak the language of dragons. Gain proficiency with the draconic language.
Choose a Type of Dragon upon choosing this class and gain certain elemental features based on the chosen dragon.
Chromatic/Metallic Dragon= Red/Gold/Brass- Fire Blue/Bronze- Electricity Black/Copper- Acid Green- Poison White/Silver- Cold
Gem Dragon= Amethyst- Force Crystal= Radiant Emerald- Psychic Sapphire- Thunder Topaz- Necrotic
As magic flows through your body, it causes physical traits of your patron to emerge. Parts of your skin are covered by a thin sheen of dragon-like scales. When you aren’t wearing armor, your AC equals 13 + your Charisma modifier.
Your draconic patron gift for magic is shared with you. Your Warlock gains One Additional Spell Slot and once per long rest is able to cast a known spell chosen from your selected dragon expanded spell list without a spell slot. Additionally, if you have taken the Eldritch Blast as one of your known spells then the damage type is changed from force damage to the damage type of your chosen dragon (example: if red dragon was chosen then Eldritch Blast deals fire damage instead of force damage).
Based on the dragon you have chosen then you may choose from the expanded spell list below when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you. Furthermore, each dragon has its own table that you can pick from, refer to your Draconic Pantheon Patron feature to pick your expanded spell list.
6th Lv. Aspect of the Dragon
The Warlock gains additional draconic features based upon thier patron.
The warlock gains damage resistance based upon thier chosen dragon's elemental affinity (example: if red dragon was choosen then the warlock has resistance to fire damage). Additionaly, once per turn, if the warlock deals any elemental damage based upon thier chosen dragon's elemental affinity, then the warlock can add thier chrisma modifier to the damage of that type (example: if red dragon was choosen then the warlock can add thier chrisma modifier to an attack that deals fire damage).
The warlock can use thier action on thier turn to use a draconic breath attack that targets any creature within either a 15-foot cone or a 30-foot line that is 5 feet wide (your choice). Any creature In range of this attack must make a dexterity saving throw against the warlock's spell save DC and on a fail take 2d12 damage based upon thier chosen dragon's elemental affinity (example: if red dragon was choosen then the damage delt is fire damage) or half as much on a succes. Once the warlock reaches certian levels in this class, the damage delt by this effect is increased to 3d12 at level 11 and 4d12 at level 17. The warlock can only use this effect a number of times based upon thier profency bonus per long rest.
10th Lv. Draconic Form
The warlock channels the power of their patron through their body changing their form into that of a dragon.
The warlock can use their bonus action to gain enhanced draconic abilities. On activation, all creatures and non-restrained objects within 5 feet of the warlock are pushed 10 feet away from the warlock. This transformation lasts for one minute during which the warlock gains the following features.
At the end of the warlock's turn after activating this feature, all creatures within 15 feet of the warlock must make a wisdom saving throw against the warlock's spell save DC or fall under effects of the Fear spell. Additionally, any creature that starts their turn within 15 feet of the warlock during this transformation must also make a wisdom saving throw against the warlock's spell save DC or they also fall under the same effects of the Fear spell. This does not affect any creature immune to the frightened condition. The conditions to remove the fear effect is the same as the Fear spell and once removed from this effect the creature becomes immune to this feature for the next 8 hours.
The warlock either grows or conjures draconic features that they can use to enhance their movement depending on their chosen dragon. The movement features they gain are based on the following.
The warlock can choose to and gain a flying speed equal to their walking speed regardless of any type of dragon they choose (if the amethyst dragon was chosen you can also hover and do not take any falling damage).
If the black, green, white, bronze, gold, topaz, or amethyst dragon was chosen then you may choose to have a swim speed equal to their walk speed and gain the ability to breathe underwater.
If the blue, white, brass, crystal, emerald, or sapphire dragon was chosen, then you may choose to have a burrow speed equal to your walking speed and are able to hold their breath through this transformation and thus do not need to breath and do not suffer from the effects of suffocation.
If the red, copper, sapphire, or crystal dragon was chosen, then you may choose to have a climbing speed equal to your walking speed and you can move up, down, and across vertical surfaces and upside down along ceilings, while leaving your hands free. You are unable to move this way on a slippery surface, such as one covered by ice or oil.
The warlock can only transform a number of times per long rest based on their proficiency bonus.
14th Lv. Draconic Blessing
The dragon god has taken notice of your actions and given you their divine blessing.
The warlock gains immunity to the damage type associated with their chosen dragon's elemental affinity (example: if red dragon was chosen, then the warlock has immunity to fire damage).
Once per long rest, You may change the dragon you are associated with to another based upon the type of dragon patron you have chosen. If you have chosen a chromatic dragon then you may change your association to any of the other chromatic dragons (example: red dragon to white dragon). If you have chosen a Metallic dragon then you may change your association to any of the other metallic dragons (example: gold dragon to silver dragon). If you have chosen a Gem dragon then you may change your association to any of the other Gem dragons (example: crystal dragon to topaz dragon).
All features that are associated with your dragon such as your elemental resistance/immunity, elemental damage boosts, and breath damage type are now changed to the new dragon you have chosen to be associated with (example breath attack was associated with a red dragon= fire damage, changed to be associated with a white dragon breath weapon= cold damage).
If you have chosen any spells from the expanded spell list of that dragon's type as one of your warlock spells, then you must change out that spell with a spell from your new chosen dragon's spell list (example your previous chosen dragon's spell was the red dragon's fireball spell and you have switched to the white dragon you may exchange that fireball spell for sleet storm).

3rd Lv. Pact of the Scales + Invocations
You gain the power of dragons allowing you to summon a dragon to your aid. The warlock receives a small piece of dragon material or item from a dragon's hoard such as a scale, coin, or fang. In the event that the dragon material/item is lost or stolen then you can spend 10 minutes resummoning the material/item back into their possession, no matter where the material/item may be. When you are in possession of the dragon material/item you can summon a dragon companion to aid you in battle. The summoning takes an hour to perform and requires the you to be holding the dragon material/item throughout the entire ritual. The dragon companion remains summoned until it is destroyed or the you spend an action to dismiss it. When dismissed or destroyed, you must spend another hour casting the ritual in order to summon the dragon companion again.
The dragon companion that is initially summoned within 5 feet of an unoccupied space from you and starts of with a pseudodragon stats with the exception of it being either a metallic, chromatic, or gem dragon upon its summons (warlocks choice when it is summoned) and the magic resistance trait is replaced with an Elemental Magic Resistance trait (grants the dragon resistance to the elemental damage and advantage to any spell saving throws based on the element affiliated with the chosen dragon ex. fire for red dragon) of the based on the corresponding element of the summoned dragon. The dragon companion shares the same initiative as you but goes after your turn. The dragon's health is determined by your warlock level multiplied by 5. You use your spell attack modifier to any attack and damage rolls that your dragon companion may make. The dragon is friendly to the warlock and its companions and follows the warlock's commands. The warlock can use its bonus action to have the dragon perform specific tasks such as attacking a specific target or defending an area and will continue to follow those orders until either its task is complete or the warlock issues another order. If the warlock issues no order then the dragon will take simple actions such as the dodge action or attack action against any creature that attacked it.
While the dragon companion is summoned the warlock gains the Elemental Magic Resistance (grants the warlock resistance to the elemental damage and advantage to any spell saving throws based on the element affiliated with the chosen dragon) effect of the dragon companion the warlock has summoned and the warlock can use the dragon companion's reaction to cast spells through it as if the dragon had cast the spell using your spell attack save DC and spell attack bonus. If the spell has a range greater than 5 feet, then you must subtract the distance your dragon companion is away from your position, from the listed range of the spell (to a minimum of 5 feet).
Pact of the Scales Eldritch Invocations
Eye of the Dragon Prerequisite: Pact of the Scales feature
You gain darkvision upto 60 feet and blind sight upto 15 feet.
Dragon Adept Prerequisite: Pact of the Scales feature
As long as the dragon companion is summoned, then any elemental damage associated with your chosen dragon companion's element (example dragon companion is a red dragon then all fire based damage) caused by your dragon companion and warlock ignore damage resistance of the type associated with your dragon companion. Your dragon companion gains a breath weapon attack that can target any enemy or object within 10 feet and deal 2d6 elemental damage based on your dragon companion's chosen elemetal type (this feature gains the attack and damage bonus from your dragon companion feature).
Dragon Resonance Prerequisite: 9th level, Pact of the Scales feature
Any spell cast through your dragon companion that is of the same elemental type as your dragon companion (example dragon companion is a red dragon then all fire based spells) is done so with advantage and any spell cast through your dragon companion that requires a saving throw an enemy must make to resist an effect associated with your dragon companion's elemental type is made with disadvantage. Your dragon companion's sting attack save DC is now based upon your spell save DC. (If you choose the Dragon Master Invocation at a later level then this feature allows any of the wyrmling’s features that require an enemy to make a save DC to also use your spell save DC to overcome those effects.)
Dragon Master Prerequisite: 15th Level, Pact of the Scales feature
Once per long rest, when summoning the warlock's dragon companion, the warlock can summon a dragon wyrmling instead of a pseudodragon( the warlock may choose which type and use that dragon's stat block). The chosen wyrmlings hit points are determined by your warlock's level + wisdom modifier multiplied by 5. You use your warlock's spell casting modifier to any attack and damage rolls this creature makes.
