Base Class: Warlock
Custom Patron Lore
1) Over thousands of years of life, passing on her title from warlock to warlock, the Ice Queen’s spirit has become melded with the ice that she controls and forms her grand tower, giving her total omniscience over the frozen wastelands of Auroria that she calls home. She is a benevolent, matron-like figure of indeterminate age, who encourages her warlocks to see each other as a big family and to look after each other.
2) Rumored to be the son of Kord and an Archfey of the Winter Court, the Winter Warrior is a handsome but tempestuous man, as quick to anger as he is to laugh, and while he's not one to hold grudges, he's also fickle and vain. He dwells in the Feywild on a flying castle made of ice and stormy clouds; taking on warlocks that fawn over him and indulge his vanity, and while he can be generous, he is also easily bored.
[The Winter Warrior also grants the Pact of the Archfey].
3) The Priestess of Snows has been the Chosen of Auril for millennia and the ruler of a large portion of Volskad. Merciless and cruel, she rules with an iron fist, though she cannot leave her frozen citadel yet, for it keeps her eternally alive and young. She coerces warlocks into her service by taking loved ones hostage or simply imprisoning them in ice until they accept.
4) The Justicar of Cold is said to dwell in the Shadowfell since times immemorial, in a palace of gray ice and endless mist. Their true name is unknown, and their appearance is that of a frozen, ashen wraith; yet they speak with a voice of utter calm. Renowned across the planes, many seek the Justicar for their ability to cast unbiased, unfeeling judgment. They take on warlocks as assistants and messengers, having a neverending list of difficult cases to judge that only gets longer with every passing year.
[The Justicar of Cold also grants the Pact of the Undying].

Ice Sovereign's Blessing
Starting at 1st level, you learn the shape water cantrip, which counts as a warlock cantrip for you. You may cast this cantrip using your bonus action rather than your action, and you can use its effects on any area of ice within range, including using it to unfreeze that ice. This cantrip does not count towards the number of cantrips known.
Glacial Prison
At 6th level, you can call upon your patron to freeze your enemies. Whenever you deal Cold damage with a spell of 1st level or higher, you can force all enemies affected by the spell to make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failure, a creature is stunned until the end of its next turn.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it against until you finish a long rest.
Frozen Shield
At 10th level, your proficiency in ice magic gives you resistance to its effects. You gain resistance to cold damage, and whenever a creature deals cold damage to you you gain temporary hit points equal to the damage deal. Resistance is applied first before the total temporary hit points are earned, meaning the temporary hit points are the resisted value. These temporary hit points last until the end of your next turn.
Icy Tomb
Beginning at 14th level, when you hit a creature with an attack, you can use this feature to instantly encase that creature in ice. The creature becomes petrified by ice for 1 minute, after which the ice melts. At the start of each of their turns, the petrified creature can make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a success, the ice is broken, and the creature can escape.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
