Spotter

Spotter Rangers are those who act as guides and navigators in the dangerous but familiar world they live in. They easilly spot traps within their sight and disarm them before anyone gets hurt. Their most powerful weapon is their sharp eye, with which they can spot any danger and even discover the weak points of an enemy.

Trap Expert

At 3rd level, you know how to protect yourself and your party against traps.

You gain proficiency with thieves tools.

If you already have proficiency with thieves tools you will instead gain expertise with thieves tools.

Additionally, you gain the ability to reset disarmed mechanical traps.

Night Watch

By 7th level, you have learned to be almost as perceptive at night as you are by day.

You gain Darkvision and Tremorsense. Both with a range of 60 feet.

If you already have Darkvision from your race, its range increases by 60 feet.

Combat Spotter

At 11th level, you learn to recognise the weaknesses in the armor of your target.

As a bonus action, you designate one creature you can see as the target of this feature. The target of this feature gains a penalty of -5 to their AC. This penalty lasts until you finish a short or long rest. It ends early if you designate a different creature.

Swift Spotter's Defence

At 15th level, you are always on the lookout for danger. You gain one of the following features of your choice.

Uncanny Dodge

When an attacker that you can see hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to halve the attack’s damage against you.

Ambush Expert

You can give yourself a bonus to your initiative rolls equal to your proficiency bonus. You also gain a bonus to your passive Wisdom (Perception) equal to your proficiency bonus.
