Base Class: Wizard

Great Scroll casters use ritual magic to infuse and shape the nature of their spells, binding them to their great scrolls. This art typically takes years of study, creating a magic link between the user and their Great Scroll.

A level 2, the user comes into possession of a Great Scroll. This scroll is approximately the hight and weight of the user, but while on the users person is as light as a feather. If the scroll is lost or destroyed, the user can spend one short rest recreating or summoning the scroll magically. The user can write and store 1 spell (to a maximum of 1, increases to 2 at level 14) per long rest on the scroll using magic energy, ink, blood or any other reasonable writing material. The spell can be transcribed during a downtime equal to or greater then 30 minutes. Once that spell is cast, the ink fades from the scroll, consuming the spell.

When writing the spell, select a spell from the list of spells you know and a level for the spell that you can cast. You consume the spell slot as if you were casting the spell. Until you use the spell or the scroll is destroyed, you may use one action to cast the spell with any alterations binded during the transcription.
