Base Class: Druid
Most Druids are tolerant or accepting of society. They see themselves as the agents of balance between the needs of civilization and the protection of nature. Druids of the Circle of Cataclysm reject that wholeheartedly. Civilization is what created and spread Defilers, so it is at least in part responsible for this dying world. For that they believe for the world to recover, civilization must be destroyed, and people returned to a more primitive state closer to nature. These druids study natural disasters for both inspiration and as a weapon; natural disasters are rarer in this world with so little nature, so much of their knowledge is passed down through oral tradition.
Because of their mission these are the only druids who are likely to gather and live in larger numbers, cooperation requiring the rejection of druid's more hermit lifestyle. The plot and plan for their ultimate goal; the death of the Sorcerer-Kings and destruction of their cities.
Cataclysmic Font
When you choose this circle at 2nd level, you are infused with the terrible strength of nature. You are a font of destructive energy waiting to be unleashed. You have a pool of cataclysmic energy represented by a number of d4s equal to your druid level.
When you cast a druid spell of 1st level or higher that deals damage, you can spend a number of these dice up to the spell’s level. When you do, roll the spent dice and add them to the initial damage dealt by the spell.
You regain all of the expended dice when you finish a long rest.
Rubble and Ruin
Starting at 6th level, damage from your druid spells is doubled against objects and structures.
Potent Cantrip
At 10th level, your damaging cantrips affect even creatures that avoid the brunt of the effect. When a creature succeeds on a saving throw against one of your druid cantrips, the creature takes half the cantrip’s damage (if any) but suffers no additional effect from the cantrip.
Catastrophic Damage
At 14th level, when you roll damage for a druid spell, you can use your reaction and expend a use of your Wild Shape to reroll a number of the damage dice up
to your Wisdom modifier (minimum 1). You must use the new rolls.
Placeholder
Because DnDBeyond homebrew is absolute garbage, I needed a 3rd level feature even though only 1 druid gets a 3rd level feature.
