The Arcane Epidemiologist recognizes our fragile and insignificant place in the multiverse, and seeks to tap into something greater.

The universe is vast and magnificent, and has been found to be more empty than not. The Viral infection that is entropy spreads throughout all, unyielding, unceasing, and unending. A wizard who understands this great cosmic power, and accepts that they are nothing to it, can begin the process of utilizing it for their own. This is a dangerous path, but those who walk it will be more than they could possibly imagine.

With an innate understanding of the universe comes an innate understanding of yourself. Choose 2 applicable Edlritch Invocations. You gain them as class abilities. At any level you would get an ASI, you may exchange these for others.

You also gain the Eldritch Blast Cantrip.

Ephemeral Understanding

Thorugh rigorous study, you have gained knowledge of the unknown. You gain proficiency in the Arcana, Religon, and Nature skills. If you already have proficiency in those skills, it instead becomes expertise.

Unknown Mind and Body

Your mind no longer works as a mortal one would. You gain advantage on avoiding or breaking the charmed and frightened conditions, and no magic can read your mind.

You also gain resistance to poison damage, and become immune to diesease.

Arcane Unlock

As an action, you can use your understanding of the universe to tap into something greater. For 1 minute, you transcend your mortal shell, no longer needing water, food, or even air. You can pass through solid matter as if it wasn't there, and you gain true sight to a range of 120 feet. The first spell you cast while in this mode requires no material components, and uses no spell slot.

This form can end early if you deal damage to any other creature.
