Base Class: Ranger
A marksman is a true master of ranged weaponry, particularly adept with either bows or crossbows. Their accuracy is unparalleled and, through time and effort, they learn to maintain that same level of accuracy no matter the situation; whether they are standing on a hill overlooking a battlefield, fighting their way through cramped tunnels and alleyways, or picking off targets from incredible distances.
Sharpshooter
At 3rd level, your accuracy becomes deadly. You gain the Sharpshooter Feat. Long range, 1/2 cover, and 3/4 cover no longer impose disadvantage on attack rolls with ranged weapons.
Varied Training
You have trained to maintain your accuracy under any conditions and in any circumstance. When you make an attack at disadvantage, add 1d4 to the attack roll. This increases to 1d6 at 11th level and 1d8 at 15th level.
Rapid Fire
Drawing and firing has become second nature for you, and you have learned to do it with incredible speed. Once per turn, when you attack with a bow, you can quickly fire a second arrow as part of the attack. Do not add your damage modifier for the second arrow, and roll separate attacks for each arrow.
(This feature can be adapted to apply to firearms at DM's discretion)
Conditioning
You have trained your muscles to handle heavier draw weights. Your ranged weapon's maximum range increases by 100 feet, and you can now add your proficiency bonus to the damage roll.
