Absorb Remains

2nd-level Blue Mage feature

Once per Short rest, you can take the remains of a creature you have, and feed the item to your spell book. When you do, as long as the remains are from an aberration, beast,  fiend, or monstrosity type creature, you learn one attack /trait / ability/ resistance/ or immunity the creature had, and store it as an aspect in your spell book. This is chosen by the DM. You can have a number of learned aspects equal to your Wizard Level + Proficiency Bonus. When you attempt to learn additional aspects beyond this your DM  chooses an aspect to delete from your known aspect as your book rejects a previous item in the form of a pink ectoplasm.

Creature Manual

2nd-level Blue Mage feature

While you are holding your Creature Manual, it grants you the following benefits:
- You can use the book as a spellcasting focus for your wizard spells.
- After a Long Rest, you can choose up to your PB on your learned Aspects and make them active.
-You can sacrifice a single spell slot of any level to gain additional Aspects you may active till you finish the next Long Rest.

Each Learned Aspect has a type associated with it. You can not have more than your proficiency bonus number of Aspects active with the same type. the four types are:
- Active (Level): You may expend a spell slot of the appropriate Level (cantrip through 6th level)to activate this aspect
- Passive: This Aspect is always active
- Reactive: You can use your reaction to use this aspect once pre long rest
- Unique: These aspects come from unique creatures, and you may only have one of these active. Unique May be of any other type but will have the unique Tag on it.
