Base Class: Bard
The College of trade is what you would call the true jack of all trades, at least they are the master of that. Perhaps they have been in a few parties before or heard one too many stories about others abilities in a tavern or two. Either way, they learned and wanted to know more.
Bonus Proficiencies
When you join the College of Trade at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with two skills or tools of your choice.
Multiple Trades
Starting at level 3, you can now mimic the abilities of the other classes. As an action you can expend one use of your bardic inspiration die to gain one of the abilities on the chart below, this ability lasts for 10 minutes.
Once you have used the abilities from one of the classes below, you can not use that class's abilities until you have finished a long rest. Once you have used this ability, you can not use it again until you’ve finished a short or long rest.
| class | ability |
|---|---|
| Artificer | you get one infusion of your choice that doesn’t have a prerequisite that lasts for as long as your multiple trades ability is active. Touch the item you wish to infuse when you choose this ability. |
| Barbarian | As a bonus action you gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage (your choice) for one minute. Also, for the duration, you can attack twice , instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn (this does not add to you if you already attack twice or more when you take the attack action). |
| Cleric | You gain two Channel Divinity options for the duration that you can activate as an action. Channel Divinity: Turn Undead - similar to the clerics turn undead, Performers Blessing - for one minute you can use your reaction to add 1d4 to a creatures d20 role you see within 30 feet of you. |
| Druid | For the duration, you magically assume the shape of a beast, challenge rating ¼ or less, that you have seen before. You have the stats of the beast you would take the form of. You automatically revert if you fall unconscious, drop to 0 hit points, or die. |
| Fighter | Once on one of your turns, you can take one additional action, if you would cast a spell with this additional action, that spell level can not be higher that half you proficiency bonus (rounded down). You gain a fighter fighting style for the duration. |
| Monk | For the duration, your walking speed increases by 10 feet. When spending a use of your bardic inspiration dice, you can take the Dash, Disengage, or Dodge action as a part of the same action. Also, if you are not wearing armor that causes a disadvantage to your stealth checks, you may add your Charisma modifier to your armor class. |
| Paladin | For the Duration, when you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can expend one spell slot to deal radiant damage to the target, in addition to the weapon’s damage. The extra damage is 1d6 for a 1st-level spell slot, plus 1d6 for each spell level higher than 1st, to a maximum of 5d6. |
| Ranger | You can use your action and expend one bard spell slot to focus your awareness on the region around you. For 1 minute per level of the spell slot you expend, you can sense whether the following types of creatures are present within 1 mile of you: aberrations, celestials, dragons, elementals, fey, fiends, and undead. This feature doesn’t reveal the creatures’ location or number. When you hit a creature with an attack roll, you can call on your mystical bond with nature to mark the target as your favored enemy for 1 minute or until you lose your concentration (as if you were concentrating on a spell). |
| Rogue | For the duration, you can use a bonus action on your turn to take the Dash, Disengage, or Hide action. Once per turn, you can deal an extra 2d6 damage to one creature you hit with an attack if you have advantage on the attack roll. The attack must use a finesse or a ranged weapon. You don’t need advantage on the attack roll if another enemy of the target is within 5 feet of it, that enemy isn’t incapacitated, and you don’t have disadvantage on the attack roll. |
| Sorcerer | You gain 3 sorcery points and learn one metamagic for the duration. |
| Warlock | For the duration, you gain one warlock invocation so long you meet the prerequisites for that invocation. |
| Wizard | Once as an action, you can choose expended spell slots to recover. The spell slots can have a combined level that is equal to or less than one-third your bard level (rounded down), and none of the slots can be 4th level or higher. |
Additional Magical Secrets
At 6th level, you learn two spells of your choice from any class. A spell you choose must be of a level you can cast, as shown on the Bard table, or a cantrip. The chosen spells count as bard spells for you but don’t count against the number of bard spells you know.
Master of the Trades
Starting at level 14, you can now use your Multiple Trades feature up to three times until you’ve finished a short or long rest. You cannot have two classes' abilities active in this at the same time. If you activate a class feature while under the effects of another class feature, the first class’s ability immediately ends and the new class feature abilities are applied.
