Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Whether your people thrive in a deep mountain home or you have slaved away in a deep mine, you are use to the struggles and toils of the earth. You know how to hold your ground and bend immoveable things to your will.

One With Stone

When you reach 14th level you become so in-tune with the stone that surrounds you that you gain tremor sense out to 10 ft.

On top of that any critical hit against you is considered a normal hit. When you fall unconscious or die while touching stone, you may choose not to end your rage, you do not have to fall prone, and if you die, you can have your corpse become petrified into stone that is immune to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing from nonmagical weapons.

Mountainous Build

Your time spent in the earth has inspired your rage. When you take this Path at 3rd level you gain the following benefits

  • You have a climbing speed equal to your movement speed on stone surfaces, and can walk vertically and upside down while leaving your hands free, as you dig your feet into the stone like pitons.
  • While raging, you cannot be Frightened, have your movement speed reduced, and have advantage on saving throws to be displaced.
  • When you hit a creature with a melee attack with a two handed weapon, you can use your bonus action to knock the enemy back 5 feet. The distance increase by 5ft at 5th, 10th,15th, and 20th.

Metamorphic Strength

At 6th level you revel in the pressure and strikes of attacks. After taking damage while raging you can choose to become resistant to that damage type until the end of your rage. This ability can only be used once per rage.

Kinetic Rage

At 10th level your rage becomes so powerful that it moves the earth around you.

When you enter your rage you shatter the earth around you. All creatures within 10 feet of you must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (DC= 8+ Proficiency modifier+ Strength Modifier) or be knocked prone. On a failed save they are not knocked prone but their movement is halved for their next turn.

Shaping Stone

When in a rage you can strike the ground with an attack and manipulate it to your will.

When you strike the ground you can choose 1 of 3 options of manipulations depending on what you need at the time

  • Wall of Stone- You strike the ground with the blunt end of a weapon and a shockwave is sent out from it  A 15 foot wall of earth springs up in front of you offering 3/4 cover from ranged attacks.
  • Rippling Earth- You stir the earth in front of you with your strike. A 15ftx 15ft square in front of you becomes difficult terrain for the next minute. Any creature moving through this square takes 1d4 piercing damage. At level 6, 10, and 14 add 1d4 to the damage.
  • Cratering Blow- Your strike ripples out from you and then forms a circular wall. A circular stone wall with a 10 foot radius springs up centered on you. The wall is 5 feet tall and lasts for 1 minute

You can use a ground strike once per rage. At 14th level you can use this ability twice per rage.
