Bard
Base Class: Bard

At 3rd level you join a college of bards focused on using their shortbows and voices as instruments, bringing joy to allies while delivering death to their enemies with precise attacks.

Mastery of Singing Bows

You fine tune your shortbow and arrows, causing them to play music when used to shoot, your bowstring sounding like a guitar or bass, your arrows whistling through the air before reaching their marks.

You gain +1 to damage and to hit rolls with shortbows. Your shortbow counts as a musical instrument you are proficient with, and as such can be used as a bardic spellcasting focus.

Song of Battle

You can use your bonus action and spend 1 die of Bardic Inspiration to sing a battlesong, boosting the morale of your allies. When you do this, you generate a pool of d4s equal to a roll of your Bardic Inspiration die.

Until the beginning of your next turn, any allied character (excluding yourself) within 50 feet of you can choose to expend a d4 from the pool and add it to a saving throw or attack roll, after rolling but before knowing the result. Any unused dice are lost.

At 10th level, your music becomes so inspiring you can use it on your own rolls as well.

Extra Attack

Starting at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

Effortless Music

Starting at 14th level, whenever you use Song of Battle, you can roll a d6 and use it instead of expending a Bardic Inspiration die, with the number of dice in the pool being d6.
