Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Fueled by the power of their very own Ram, these Barbarians are impressively the most notorious and most reckless drivers in all of the Forgotten Realms.

License to Thrill

At 3rd level, you gain proficiency with either Animal Handling or Intimidation, and you gain proficiency with land vehicles.

Additionally, you have advantage on saving throws made to avoid falling off your mount, and mounting or dismounting a creature costs you only 5 feet of movement, rather than half your speed.

What’d You Say About My Ram?

Starting at 3rd level, if someone makes an insult on you or your mount or land vehicle, you must make an “Ego save” and roll a DC 12 Wisdom saving throw. If you fail, you become infuriated, and may rage as a reaction. If you succeed, you are immune to further attempts from the same creature (or group of creatures) for the next hour.

Additionally, if your mount or land vehicle is attacked within 30 feet of you that you can see (or detect if it is your Found Steed), you may also rage as a reaction.

When you choose to rage in either way, roll a D6. On a 5 or a 6, this rage does not count against the amount of rages you can make before taking a long rest, even if you have already expended all of them.

Although certain harmless phrases may be misconstrued by your Barbarian PC, the DM has final say on what can be considered an “insult” for the purpose of this class ability.

A Steed Built Tough

At 6th level, you can cast the spell Find Steed as a 10 minute ritual. The steed summoned with this spell is a Large construct with the stats of a Warhorse. It is immune to Poison and Psychic damage and cannot be Exhausted, Frightened, Paralyzed or Poisoned. Additionally, when this steed disappears, you may choose to let any or all of the objects it was carrying disappear with it, reappearing when you cast the spell again. One other creature of Medium size or smaller that you choose can share this mount with you, able to make weapon attacks and cast spells as normal: However, it cannot control the mount’s movement or actions.

You may cast this spell an amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

At 14th level, your steed instead possesses the stats of a Rhinoceros while maintaining a movement speed of 60 and still remaining a large construct.

“F%#$ Off!”

At 6th level, you gain the ability to sling the vitriol you and your pristine mount have endured back at your enemies. You may cast the Vicious Mockery cantrip as an attack once on your turn, even while raging and/or riding a mount or vehicle. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for this spell.

Outta My Way

At 10th level, you can assert your dominance by ramming your enemies with your mount. If you move at least 10 feet in a straight line, you can use your bonus action to charge the first creature you run into. They must succeed either an Acrobatics check or an Athletics check against your Athletics roll or travel with you in the same direction until you stop moving or turn, landing prone within 5 feet of the area you stopped or changed direction at and taking 4d6 + your Strength modifier as bludgeoning damage.

If the target beats your Athletics check with Acrobatics, you spend up to 10 feet of your remaining movement to harmlessly move past them. If they beat it with Athletics, you stop moving in that direction entirely and must change directions.

My Ram Is Bigger Than Yours

At 14th level, you can use your action to challenge and emasculate your foes. While on a mount, choose a creature within 30 feet of you that you can see and that can hear you. It must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency + your Charisma modifier). If it fails, it takes 6d6 thunder damage from the deafening sound of your mount, it has disadvantage on attacking other creatures, and it must repeat the saving throw to move more than 30 feet away from you.

Additionally, you have advantage on Intimidation checks you use your mount to make.
