Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

The Bleeding Heart Barbarian is the fortress of fellowship, the stronghold of solidarity. Don't get between a Bleeding Heart Barbarian and their friends, or blood will be spilled. If it's yours, that's bad. If it's theirs, even worse.

Followers of the Path of the Bleeding Heart channel their rage through their devotion and compassion towards their allies. They value teamwork and strategy, using their abilities to bring the best out of their companions. Most remarkably, this innate sense of duty manifests itself in powerful abjuration magic which the Bleeding Heart Barbarian can use to aid others in battle.

Indignant Rage

At 3rd level, your rage is fueled by the plight of your allies. You can maintain rage if an ally you can see within 30 feet of you attacks or takes damage during a round of combat.

Sanguine Magic

Starting at 3rd level, your innate sense of compassion manifests itself into abjuration magic. Constitution is your spellcasting ability.

You can cast Sanctuary and Warding Bond once per long rest.

Reckless Camaraderie

Starting at 6th level, you have learned to re-purpose your Reckless Attacks in order to benefit your allies. You can choose one Reckless Camaraderie maneuver, which you can use a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain any expended uses on a long rest.

You can switch to a different maneuver at 10th, 12th, 16th and 19th level.

Reckless Assist

Your fury quells a hostile creature's defenses. Your Reckless Attack can grant advantage to an ally's next attack instead of yours. The ally must be within 5 feet of you. Attacks against you (not your ally) are still at advantage until your next turn.

Reckless Blow

When you use your second Reckless Attack action to successfully shove a creature prone, you jostle its body to make it easier for allies to see. While you are within 5 feet of the creature, and unless the creature stands back up, ranged weapon attacks against it are no longer made at disadvantage.

Reckless Parry

Your fury emboldens a nearby ally. You can forgo your second Reckless Attack action to grant +2 AC to an ally within 5 feet of you. Attacks against you are still made at advantage until your next turn.

Reckless Taunt

When you attack a creature for the first time on your turn using Reckless Attack, you can forgo your second attack to goad that creature. The creature has disadvantage on attack rolls against all targets except you until your next turn. Attacks against you are still made at advantage until your next turn.

Fervent Rage

At 10th level, you learn to balance your devoted compassion with your abjuration magic. While raging, you can cast and concentrate on spells, but you have disadvantage on maintaining concentration. In addition, you must make a concentration saving throw if you enter your rage while already concentrating on a spell. This feature only applies to spells granted by the Path of the Bleeding Heart.

Rubescent Magic

At 10th level, you can cast Beacon of Hope and Death Ward once per long rest.

Esprit de Corps

At 14th level, you learn to bolster your allies while taking the brunt of damage.

When you take weapon damage while raging, you can use your reaction to distribute temporary hit points equal to the damage taken among your allies (not yourself) within 30 feet of you. You can use this feature twice per long rest.
