Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

The Oath of Pride calls to paladins who seek dignity through glory in battle and protection of guiltless. Those who serve this oath wish to disconnect all shame from themselves and devote themselves to a life of pride in doing what they believe is honorable and right. They harbor no hatred towards others that they believe are weaker than themselves and instead pity their lack of strength. Sometimes called Esteemed Knights or Knights of the Sun, paladins of this oath cast their lot with the side of light to attempt heroics that might one day shine in legend.

TENETS OF PRIDE

The tenets of the Oath of Pride inspire paladins to relive themselves of shame and keep face even in the midst of hardship.

Boastfulness. Show excessive pride and self-satisfaction in one's achievements, possessions and abilities.

Courage. Never fear to act. Conquer fear and accept pain as lessons.

Honesty. Do not dip so low as to lie or cheat. Let your word be promise.

Heroism. Work from a sense of love and duty, embrace the desire to protect others and be willing to take on suffering if it keeps others safe.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Pinnacle. As an action, you can use your Channel Divinity to augment your proportions. You magically gain the following benefits, which last for 10 minutes:

  • If you are smaller than Large, you become Large, along with anything you are wearing. If you lack the room to become Large, your size doesn’t change.
  • You have advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws.
  • Once on each of your turns, you can deal extra radiant damage to one target when you deal damage to it with an attack or a spell. The extra damage equals half your Paladin level.

Courtesy. As a bonus action, you can enact a gesture of confidence towards a creature you can see within 10 feet of you, using your Channel Divinity. You gain advantage on attack rolls against the creature for 1 minute or until it drops to 0 hit points or falls unconscious.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.

Brimming Radiance

Beginning at 15th level, you are always under the effects of a fire shield spell. The shield provided is a warm shield.

As an action, you can temporarily dismiss the shield, ending the spell.

As an action, while it is dismissed, you can cause the shield to reappear, grating you the effects of the fire shield spell once again. You must be in direct sunlight to re-summon the shield in this way.

The One

At 20th level, you can assume the form of a devastating supernova. Using your action, you undergo a transformation. For 1 minute, you gain the following benefits:

  • A 10-foot-diameter Sphere of light appears centered on you, causing you to become heavily obscured to others. The sphere sheds bright light in a 50-foot radius and dim light for an additional 50 feet.
  • You emanate an aura of vulnerability in a 30-foot radius. Once per turn when a creature that you can see within 30 feet of you takes fire or radiant damage, you can cause them to  additional radiant damage equal to your paladin level.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
