Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

Paladins of the Oath of the Frontier care little for the law of lands, they act as free spirits, fighting injustice and tyranny across lands, far past the boundaries of humanity and out to its most far reaching civilizations. Paladins of the Frontier go where they wish to protect those whom need their protection, their force of will guiding them just as much as any weapon or armour.

These paladins often spend days, weeks, or even months without seeing another soul, so often find comfort in the company of the wildlife around them, commonly travelling with a faithful stallion, mare, hound, or other beast.

TENETS OF FRONTIER

Keep Moving Forward. The world is wide and wonderful, and you only have one lifetime to see it all, so jump at the opportunity.

Charming, Dazzling, Striking. Clever words can disarm your foes, a good show can distract them, but a good shot leaves them six feet under.

A Bounty Well Earned. Out in the wilds, the evil can go unpunished, make sure you change that.

By Your Side, Always. Always remember your companions, both man and beast, would live and die for you, it's only right you'd do the same.

Channel Divinity

3rd-level Oath of the Frontier feature

You gain the following Channel Divinity options. See the Sacred Oath class feature for how Channel Divinity works.

Traverse The Wilds. You can use your Channel Divinity to empower the stride of those you travel with. As an action, you can choose a number of creatures you can see within 30 feet of you, up to a number equal to your proficiency bonus. For the next hour, you and the chosen creatures walking speed increases by 10 feet, you gain a climbing and swimming speed equal to your walking speed, and have advantage on Strength (Athletics) checks.

Chain of Radiance. Immediately after you deal damage to a creature with your Divine Smite feature, you can use your Channel Divinity as a bonus action and make a ranged weapon attack against a creature you can see or hear. You gain a bonus to the attack roll equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of +1). If the attack hits you can choose to use your Divine Smite.

Oath Spells

3rd-level Oath of the Frontier feature

Oath of the Frontier Spells

Deadeye

7th-level Oath of the Frontier

Exploring the new world brings with it new technology, technology you have no problem wielding. You gain proficiency in firearms. Additionally, when you hit a creature with a ranged weapon attack, you may choose to use your Divine Smite feature, provided you are within the short range of your weapon.

At 18th level, you can use your Divine Smite feature when attacking at long range

Weaponized Personality

15th-level Oath of the Frontier

You select one weapon and bind to your very being, making it an extension of your will. At the end of a long rest, you can touch one non-magical weapon. Until the end of your next long rest, you gain a bonus a bonus to your attack and damage rolls with this weapon. This bonus is equal to half your Charisma modifier (rounded down).

Moreover, while holding your chosen weapon, you have advantage on Charisma (Intimidation and Performance) checks.

One Shall Stand, One Shall Fall

20th-level Oath of the Frontier feature

As an action, you unleash all your willpower into a single devastating attack against a creature within 60 feet of you, leaving them as naught but ash and memories. When you do, the target must make a Wisdom saving throw contested by your Charisma check. If you have less than half your maximum hit points, you have advantage on the roll.

If you succeed on the contest, and the creature has 125 hit points or fewer, it dies and is disintegrated. A disintegrated creature and everything it is wearing and carrying, except magic items, are reduced to a pile of fine grey dust. The creature can be restored to life only by means of a true resurrection or a wish spell.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
