Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks of the Way of the Draining Fist are survivors. Through their connection to the life force of the multiverse, they are able to siphon the spiritual energy of a creature and envigorate themselves with it. A single touch is all it takes for monks of the Siphoning Fist to drain the life of an enemy, often without the enemy even realizing it's happening. Through this contact, the monk's spirit and the creature's are connected, allowing the monk's spirit to gorge itself upon another's.

Conditioned Fist

When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can contact an enemy’s ki with your own. Whenever you hit a creature with Flurry of Blows, you can add one of these conditions to that attack:

Energy Drain: Siphon the creature's energy. The creature must succeed on a CON saving throw or gain one level of exhaustion.

Poisonous Soul: Add your Ki to that of an enemy's, causing it to attack the creature from within. The creature must make a CON saving throw or become poisoned

Soul Steal: Temporarily rend the soul from the creature's body. The creature must make a STR saving throw or be incapacitated until their next turn. If this attack killed the enemy, absorb their soul and regain 1 Ki point.

Siphoning Fist

At 6th level, you can heal yourself by siphoning the life force of a creature. As an action, you can expend 2 Ki points after landing an unarmed strike to perform a Siphoning Fist attack and regain 2d8 HP.

This action can only be performed once per long rest.

Soul Read

Beginning at 11th level, gain the ability to read the souls of those you have contacted directly. Whenever a creature that you have hit with an unarmed strike at least once triggers your opportunity attack, make two attacks against them.

Soul Denial

At 17th level, you can consume the life force of a creature that otherwise would have defeated you. Once per long rest, if a creature that you have previously hit with an unarmed strike would have brought you down to 0HP, stop at 1 HP. Your life force is now connected to and feasts off of theirs. The creature takes 12d8 damage and you heal the same amount.
